Soup was unflavored and sweet, food doesn’t look as good as its presentation sadly.
If you like authentic Thai food, would not recommend going here at all. If you want unseasoned and greasy food, this is the place to go! Ordered a Tom yum soup which essentially tasted like sweet ketchup water. When I tried to ask the waitress if I could please order something different, they simply told me the soup is always made that way and are going to charge me anyways.

We are new to the area and have friends visiting. We were craving Thai food but it was already after 8 when the teenagers got back from the mall. Up Thai is down the road and they were able to accommodate us for dinner. The food was very good and service was fast and friendly. We had the curry puffs and duck rolls appetizers and shared Pad Thai, chicken with green curry, chicken with red curry and chicken drunken noodles. We enjoyed each dish. The restaurant is casual and prices were reasonable. We will be back!

Nice hidden gem. Atmosphere feels authentic with real Thai chefs. Cute quiet place to enjoy a nice meal. Love the cute paper rose in the tip of my straw. I never see that attention to detail anymore. The food was delicious, better than average Thai. The ribs were very special crispy on the outside and fall off the bone tender inside. I see it as a rib version of Korean fried chicken. My chicken and basil was very nice. Had a nice out of heat without over powering the taste of the chicken and other ingredients. Dessert was fried cheesecake and Thai pumkin custard. The friend cheesecake was like a chewy strudel. I loved the Thai pumpkin custard. Fluffy egg custard with sweet pumpkin and syrup. They made it lighter and fluffier than I have had in the past. It is a must try for those who love yummy new desserts. Prices felt slightly higher than average Thai food, but for the quality, it seems worth it.

Very friendly server, prompt service and the food was spot on. Went for lunch and ordered from the lunch specials and few appetizers. Thai green curry, Raw papaya salad, Fried tofu and spicy Thai fried rice are a must try. Definitely coming back for round 2.

Went there for dinner, generally nice but not great. Service was good. Looks slightly worn out and dark, with old furniture. While the Thai Basil Chicken was excellent, other items were so-so.
May recommend for take outs for some dishes but not for dining in.

What a lovely and cozy place, tucked in Route 53 in Morris Plains! The food is delicious, portions are generous, and the ambiance tops it all up.

Cozy place. Had the tom yum soup, shrimp fried rice and the chicken drunken noodle. All 3 were great even though the fried rice and drunken noodle were a bit too oily. Nevertheless I would recommend this place.

Up Thai is amazing. I do not miss a stop here whenever I'm in the area. My required dishes are the shrimp rolls, drunken noodles, and some Thai iced tea, but everything on the menu is delicious. Service is always friendly and quick.
We ordered through Uber Eats, showing Up Thai as one of the best.
Sincerely, nems and other starters were so so (Gold Pouch and dumplings).
Drunken noddle with shrimps, we had 3 shrimps only. With beef was ok, but both plates have been so spicy (It was not mentioned in the list that it s spicy)!!!
71usd for that, it s much too high!
Fantastic on all levels!
