We were very happy with our choices. Grilled Oysters are outstanding. Love their Chopped Salad and the Goat Cheese and Fig pie.
Loved the chicken parlando roast beef sandwich! Cool atmosphere as well. Want to go back and try the pizza and other menu items!
Had a great experience at Millie's. While the meatballs weren't our favorite, the pizza was one of the best I've had! Great experience.
Hosted a group of about 20 here in the back party room this Sunday, after having had many memorable dinners here prior. Peter, the manager, is 1 of 1 — the best, tended to our every smallest detail and anxiety with enthusiasm. The food was, as always, top shelf. Pizza is to die for — lots of places are trying to do coal and wood fire these days, but if you want the OG best, it’s Millie’s. I don’t love veggies or apps, but the Acadia salad is not to be missed. And their Nutella pie should be top of everyone’s bucket list. 10/10, not only recommend, but it would be a regrettable mistake to skip this legendary Morristown fixture.

Four of us went; no one would return. Panzanella salad was all bread chunks overly toasted so it was like a rock with no discernible tomatoes or cheese, eggplant pizza had no taste, margarita pizza was awful! Floor is slippery. Very noisy. Glad they were busy but I don't know why!
The service and atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable dining experience, creating a welcoming and pleasant setting. However, the meal did not quite meet expectations; despite asking for medium burgers, they arrived well done. The meatballs were dry and lacked flavor, which was disappointing and detracted from an otherwise lovely outing.

Millies in Morristown is a great place for dinner. It's casual ambiance is perfect before seeing a show or just hanging with friends. Service is A+ and their manager Pete stays on top of everything. Go there, you won't regret it!!!
Good staff...quick service... good pizza... you cant go wrong....and great with parties for children
#1 - why in the world is there no baby changing station in at least the “ladies room”?!?!?! Totally unacceptable!!
Called and were told the party room has SEVEN TABLES available on a first come first served basis where reservations are not accepted. If we could arrive by 6, we could most probably get seating for our party of 9 plus a baby (in a place that requires reservations for parties over 8). Otherwise, they’d be happy to seat us outside at 630.
We arrived at 545 - guess what? Yep! No space available in the party room!! 15 minutes before our arrival, someone came in and took the entire party room!!! 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Outside seating we didn’t realize meant outside in the HOT sun - no umbrellas - it was quite a barbaric situation!!!
Certainly do wish we’d have known about the EIGHTY DOLLAR bucket of 12 meatballs “gimmick” before we had ordered them!! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ They were amazing . . . . BUT!!
Food was great and our server ended up doing a good job taking care of us.

So...overall experience dining at Millies was likened to going to a Pizza Hut with meatballs. We started with a Millies salad, then their "famous" meatballs, and a pizza. Everything was somewhat unremarkable, not bad, just unremarkable other than the physical size of the meatballs, 1/4lb! Pizza was assembly-line "Meh". Service was friendly and prompt, but very, very casual. Pizza came out while salads and meatball apps still on the already crowded table. Open kitchen revealed youngsters working in the kitchen (not an Italian in sight) with their hats on backwards. Felt like a chain restaurant, and not the one-off family-run craft establishment they strive for. Not going back, not because it was terrible, but because there are so very many better choices in NJ.
Restaurantji Recommends
The service was great! But the food was really bad 2 out of 10 and the meat balls were ok nothing special the calamari was over cooked and smaller than a quarter, the pizza was terrible. Overall 2 out of 10. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Millie's has excellent food. Great ambience. Service was a little off. For appetizers, my wife ordered the Mozzarella en Carozza and received Homemade Mozzarella. I had the Meatballs Arthur Ave Style. Salads she had the Arcadian and I had the Millie's Chopped Salad. Both were very good. For our entrees, she had the Creamy Rigatoni Al Pesto and I had the Sausage and Peppers Platter. Again, both were very good. Our entrees came out before our salads. Since we were at a table for two, our table quickly became a little crowded. Other than that, Millie's is a very good restaurant for dinner before a show or if you are just looking for someplace to get a good meal. We are planning to go back just for a meal.
Very friendly and efficient staff. Food was delicious. We ordered quite a few appetizers plus the meatballs and enjoyed everything.
Get the tres letches! Also if you want the best service make sure you ask for Jose!
