Solid mom and pop spot, at least for empanadas. People say they are the best in town and I would say they are pretty up there compared to others I've had elsewhere. For me, it comes down to two things for empanadas- how is the crust and is the filling dry. The crust on these empanadas is a solid five. Flakey and a just a bit oily but in the best way. Every few months I have business in the area and have noticed this place but never had the time to stop in. I had heard that their empanadas were great so that was my target. I purchased the beef, chicken and ham and cheese ones as well as a couple of chicken tamales. Every item was excellent but the ham and cheese empanada is beyond delicious. The filling in the tamale was great and with a little picante sauce, this visit turned into one of the best $16 I ever spent
