Pastrami House Delicatessen

Pastrami House is hands down one of the best deli experiences I’ve had in a long time. As someone who loves great pastrami and corned beef, I have pretty high standards, and this place exceeded every one of them. The meat was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and piled high without sacrificing quality. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. Even if you’re not a pastrami or corned beef fanatic, you’ll leave impressed—it’s simply an outstanding sandwich.

What really made the experience stand out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly, patient, and welcoming. I was there with my three-year-old son, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They treated us like regulars and made sure we had everything we needed, which goes a long way when you’re dining with a young child.

The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for from a neighborhood deli—clean, inviting, and comfortable. The location is convenient, the portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality of food you’re getting.

It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right: incredible food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Pastrami House has earned a customer for life. If you’re anywhere near Morristown and want an amazing sandwich, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won’t regret it.

Such a cute spot! We stopped in for a late lunch and had the best sandwiches. Absolutely loved the Rachel— the flavors were bold and delicious. We happened to meet the owner, Jeff, and he was such a nice guy! Can’t wait to go back

Unfreaken Believeable! My Pastrami & Cornbeef Sandwich was mouthwatering deliciousness! Best sandwich I have had in years! Oh and the carrot cake and service was absolutely excellent as well!

You'd think the pastrami would be on point. It was really dry and when you ask for mustard there's not much on there at all. Maybe a little bit on the side would be best next time. The sandwiches were very very greasy. Pickles were limp. The food that they had in the display did not look too appetizing. Maybe sitting too long. The price point is too high. They have a junior or regular selection when you ask for the regular selection it's just a regular rye bread sandwich for $17.00. I believe maybe the regular has extra meat I'm not sure. Maybe display or explain the options. I believe if they let you know the difference between the Junior and regular that would be best. As I'm basically thinking half or whole. I don't believe that's what it is. The decor is cool. The people are friendly. I expected a better experience food wise.

Very good pastrami, corned beef, potato salad, macaroni salad and pickles.
Don’t forget Dr. Brown’s cream soda with your sandwich.

Amazing hole in the wall deli. Do not sleep on this spot, the pastrami is outstanding.

It's no longer worthwhile to comment on pricing, every place is out of control. This was not unreasonable.

My husband has had a hankering for a good pastrami sandwich. While in NJ we googled and found the Pastrami House. What a pleasant surprise. The food was great, the service was excellent. We highly recommend and will most definitely return.

Best Pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had. I got the Rachel, delicious and good prices. My husband and I tried the Matzo ball soup, perogies and everything was amazing!! Really. Good prices, amazing service, this place is a gem.
