Ice cream is my favorite food. This is my favorite ice cream. Jockey Hollow, cookie butter, and bonfire brownie are almost too good to be true. Any day that I don’t have some, truly feels like a missed opportunity . I come in with my wife and 2 pit/mix puppies who also have been known to enjoy some of their delicious soft serve vanilla. Keep doing what you’re doing!

The staff is amazing and the ice cream is great, however the prices for the ice cream are a bit ridiculous.

South Street Creamery has EXCELLENT employees and AWESOME ice cream! They offer an array of different flavors; many are unique! I had 3 scoops. One was made with Kahlua and one with Bailey's 🤤

The Creamery is also connected to a restaurant called Red Sea that serves Eritrean/Ethiopian cuisine. I, as a foodie and long time restaurant worker, was intrigued to view their menu and learn about this type of cuisine. I love seeing different restaurant ideas! To me it shows a huge sense of creativity and innovation.

I love the surprising combination of Eritrean food and classic American treats! When you love Ethiopian/Eritrean food, but you have a picky kid, there is no better spot to dine. My son was happy with his mac & cheese and ready to finish every last bite so he could have some ice cream.

Whenever I spot goat on a menu, I am there! I didn't need any coaxing to pretty much lick the plate clean. The owner was so kind and gave me extra injera - though my mom can confirm that I had already eaten more than my fair share. This was a perfectly prepared East African meal. I felt like I was being welcomed to a home table. The injera was made only with teff - which means it is gluten free and super nutritious.

Unexpected combinations of food are what makes life worth living. If you have a chance to eat here, do it!

Went hiking near by and our tradition is to try a new ice cream shop after hiking a new trail so we stopped in here because I read that the ice cream was homemade. Sunday afternoon and they were jammin, we waited about 20 minutes to be served, they could up the employee count during peak hours. Our server was cheerful and professional, she mistakenly gave my son a waffle cone instead of a wafer cone, him being profoundly autistic immediately was irritable, she quickly redid his cone and all was right in his world. The ice cream was delicious, service perfection, and the vibe is super cute.

I’ve been going to South Street Creamery for years, and their ice cream has not declined in quality. I love the homemade quality and abundance of flavors. The recent addition of the Red Sea Cafe has brought a refreshing variety to Morristown. The Eritrean dishes are exceptionally fresh and full of flavor—an absolute treat for anyone looking to try something new!

It might have been an off day based on the other reviews people have posted, but I went in craving a plain and simple sweet cream scoop. The person working there was attentive and sweet, and promptly handed me my ice cream. I waited to eat it until I got to my home not too far and with the first bite, I noticed that the flavor was off. It was a bit minty? Maybe where they made the previous batch wasn’t rinsed properly? Not sure, but then as I kept eating, I kept felting pieces of clotted cream which isn’t exactly what I was expecting (photo attached of what I received in most bites).

Overall, it left more to be desired or maybe I should’ve gotten a different flavor.

Classic ice cream shop serving that family owned feel. Staff was friendly and the vibes were great.

This restaurant shares a space with South Street Creamery and only serves Eritrean food for dinner. The owner/chef is very friendly and always serves excellent food. There are usually at least 3 vegan options. My favorite is the lentil birsen and it is often the favorite when I bring non-vegans here. Unfortunately, there are no vegan ice cream flavors available. Typically $20-25/person.

I feel like when it comes to ice cream, you can’t exactly go wrong. That is why I’d say South Street creamery is a little above average. The staff is nice, interior is great, pricing is good, everything about this place doesn’t call me to it. It doesn’t have anything out of the ordinary. With that being said, that doesn’t mean the ice cream is bad. The ice cream is great! It’s creamy and smooth with a variety of flavors, and there are also sorbets. This place is also a very classic ice cream stop in Morristown.

This was a great stop for ice cream. The staff was friendly and offered opinions of their favorite flavors when asked. The store was well heated for February 1st
I would love to return on a warm day to walk around Morristown.
