Very nice family owned business the experience was great but the food wasn’t very edible barely cut it’s not even the father running the truck it’s a bunch of random cooks with chewy steak n fries like I think they just need better people know what they doing other then that everything was igh the drive was not worth it for the hour plus.

Service is top tier, waited around 10 minutes since it was a pretty chilly day and received fries while waiting which was delicious. I got the steak and fries and when I got my food the boss had such a great service that was fun to reciprocate.

My husband and I have been hearing about this food and seeing it all over Tik tok. Decided to take the hour drive to the Morristown location a few weeks ago. It was definitely not over hyped! I ordered the Steak and fries with extra steak and the Cheesesteak both were so full, fresh and delicious! Made it so worth the drive. I got lucky and didnt wait more than 45 minutes from ordering to receiving. Staff was all super friendly including the owner super nice guy they were even nice enough to give a sample of fries with the sauce to see if you like it or not. The sauce was soooo good I need to get a bottle to go this time. Already planning our next visit sometime this week. Cant wait to try more!

I recently tried the steak and fries at Colonial Grill in Morristown, NJ, and it was truly exceptional. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor in every bite. You can tell they take real pride in their seasoning and preparation because it was one of the most satisfying steaks I’ve had in a long time.

The fries were just as impressive: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. Together, the steak and fries made the kind of meal you keep thinking about long after it’s gone.

The quality, flavor, and consistency at Colonial Grill are on another level. If you’re anywhere near Morristown and craving a solid steak dinner, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

I had a great time at the Colonial Grill today! We lined up around 12:45 pm and didn’t have to wait too long to place our order. I ordered the steak fries and it was amazing. The whole experience was great; the father was so friendly and the food was great, it was worth traveling 45 minutes from home in cold weather!

I live in New York but have to travel to Jersey occasionally and stopped here on my way home. I had the pleasure of talking to the father of the father-son business and he is truly such a kind soul and even gave me a drink for the road. The food here is amazing, and the people are even better. A must stop if you are in the area!

The Colonial Grill came highly recommended and it was definitely worth the wait and totally delivered! The line was long (always a good sign of good food) but moved fast! The steak was fresh and delicious paired with fresh fries.!! Don’t forget to sauce it up! The flavors so good! First time I didn’t need ketchup with my French fries!!! ❤️❤️❤️
