No more sweet potatoes. Lunch and dinner just awful. But their pancakes are undisputed No 1 in the world. That keeps me coming.

Stopped in at the Mount Arlington Cracker Barrel and tried the Sausage n’ Egg Hashbrown Casserole — absolutely delicious. It came hot in a skillet, loaded with hashbrown casserole, scrambled eggs, sausage, melted cheese, and topped with crispy onions, tomatoes, and green onions. The portion was generous and hearty, and it came with fluffy biscuits on the side.

Service from Sam H. was friendly and quick, and my coffee was always topped off. The atmosphere was classic Cracker Barrel — cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed meal.

Definitely recommend this dish if you’re looking for a filling and flavorful breakfast or brunch option.

The portion is laughable. A chicken tender is the size of my pinky lol. I asked the manager (I didn’t really want extra food, wasnt that hungry actually) but here are order upon arrival photos…spoke with manager, tall slim older lady. According to her “yes, that is a tender”. The fries looked like someones leftovers and the mac and cheese was basically scooped with a teaspoon lol. That was $23.99. Just avoid. I will be reaching out to my credit card for recourse bc this should not be allowed.

If you have 3 hours to spare to go out to eat then this Crackerbarrel in Mt Arlington is your place to go! Texted website for waiting list. Text received said 30-45 minutes. Arrived to host table in our timeframe of 45 minutes. Hostess said the wait was another another 30-45 more minutes. Finally get seated. We wait at the table for 20 minutes with no waitress/waiter. Another waitress sees us just sitting there and she said she will get our drinks. Our waitress finally appears after 15 minutes. We order, food comes in a timely manner. Food OK. We finish food. Now we wait another 20 minutes to see if we want dessert. I just asked for the check. With all the waiting we did notice all the dust on the wall slats and wall decor. Now waiting to pay at the counter. The employee at counter asked the lady in front of us who was paying her check of how everything was. I chuckled when she told the guy she was not fine cause she spent the whole day here.

Great good good nice service just wouldn’t recommend the fried pickles. Also sometimes they have lots of customers and you’ll have to wait we went on Sunday and it was full we waited 30 minutes.

Came here yesterday in the afternoon. I’ve never seen a Cracker Barrel that packed. The wait time was short since I went shopping. My other half of the party were checking out some items, the hostess was rushing us because we were “holding the table when we were busy” meanwhile there were 3 small parties waiting. I had a party of 6 and it took us a little over 2 hours to finish. Our waiter didn’t even excuse herself to give us our food, she was quiet the whole time and she just seemed impatient the whole time. The food was okay though but there were some errors she made when taking our orders. My friend went to ask about one of the starters and before she spoke out waiter was like “it’s coming wait!” As a joke I had loose change and put it on the table as a joke and forgot to take it off. Then when one of my friends went to pay they didn’t know what they were doing and didn’t know how to tip. Overall. This gets 1.5 stars, this location is busy and the workers just seemed tired and impatient, our waiter should’ve gotten 10% and I feel bad :( I don’t blame them but the Coca Cola cake was good but fudgy.
