Terrible experience tonight. It’s the first time we have been in under the new ownership. Before that, we had been customers around 14 years. We were a party of 8. Service was terrible- we had Bonnie I believe - older blonde with a sour attitude. Drinks took about 40 minutes to arrive. Half the dinner we spent looking for her, to ask for a refill etc. We had to ask twice to put our order in… just a strange vibe for a server. Until the bill came that is. Then a 360 on her attitude. They were out of calamari and Pinot Grigio by the bottle, the steaks were served mixed up (T-bone vs Porterhouse) and not to proper temperature. There was more but who cares- we will be passing right on by Pub 199 in the future.

Welcome change and great to see the Pub under new ownership(local family). Still the same classic menu with a few good additions. Specials & music also on the menu. They hopped into present time and also take credit cards. All positive changes at the Pub.

First I have to say the food was good and I recommend the crab legs and clams… BUT the service was absolutely awful… very slow and unattractive… but the worst was having MY DEBIT CARD be taken to a DIFFERENT TABLE when I was paying the check…. the place was not busy to somehow justify the slowness and mistake.. there were 4 tables inside.. and about the same outside… with about 6/7 waitresses/runners) everyone standing around talking most of the time I was there… just a terrible experience and very unprofessional

I apologize, I don’t remember the bartenders name but she was truly amazing. She had very curly hair and wore it up in a pony tail. From the moment we walked in she greeted us with a warm welcome, suggested seating at the bar and attended to all of our needs. She made great conversation, menu recommendations and picked up on verbal ques. I can’t express how above and beyond she went for us and how much it was appreciated. I will now carry dawn dish soap in a spray bottle v. Tide to go. Thank you truly.

The pub is nicely decorated with various taxidermies. The food is okay, the steak looks burned but it’s cooked to medium as requested. The steak lacks of favor, good that they provide A1 steak sauce. The fried calamari is the best dish, juicy and crispy.

We hosted our wedding welcome party at Pub 199, and it was the perfect spot to kick off the weekend with our family and friends! We had about 135 guests gathered on the beautiful patio, and the space could not have been more ideal.
The large outdoor bar made it easy for everyone to grab drinks and mingle, and guests were able to order food at their leisure and just relax — exactly the vibe we were going for. The cornhole games added a fun, casual touch, and the entire evening had such a laid-back, welcoming energy.
The patio lighting and flowers were absolutely gorgeous, giving the space such a cozy and inviting feel as the sun went down. It really created the perfect atmosphere.
A huge shoutout to Toni, who helped us coordinate everything. She is truly the best — responsive, helpful, and just a pleasure to work with. She made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free.
If you're looking for a spot to host a fun, casual gathering with great vibes, beautiful outdoor space, and helpful staff, Pub 199 is a fantastic choice. We’re so glad we chose it to kick off our wedding weekend!

Went to this place recently with a group of friends and sat outside on a nice day. The indoor is decorated in taxidermy and fish. It’s awesome. Huge bar area and lots of seating. Theres live music on the weekend. If you pay cash the bill will be cheaper. Loved the crab legs and clams. Would skip the mussels as they are just thrown into a sauce. The short rib sandwich was delicious as was the calamari. Would definitely recommend this place.

Portions used to be good, but i just paid $80 for one and a half crab legs. My honest guess would be easily less than 3 oz of meat. Maybe less than 2 oz. They inform you that market price is $80 but not that your getting less than one fifth of a crab for that price. One and a half legs! I would expect half a crab as a portion... No?
89.95 mp for 3 small king crab legs. Out of your minds. Should be ashamed of yourselves.

Went to pub 199 last night (a Tuesday) with a party of 7. Was very disappointed with both the service and food. 3 of us had the lobster tails and clams. The lobster was so dried out that it was tasteless. My wife ordered the veal parmigiana platter it was veal patties not cutlet. Service was terrible. Had to ask 3 different people to get our waitress to get a second round of cocktails, she finally came after a 32 minute wait (timed). I was very surprised at how the meal went, have been there many times and never had problems like this. Will be a long time before returning to one of our favorite restaurants
