I liked stopping in here after the prison museum, it’s within walking distance and the building itself is really cool. It’s spacious with plenty of seating close to few restaurants if you want pizza or you can order from the restaurant next door. The beer is very good, I enjoyed the pumpkin ale and the peanut butter porter. I would stop in and check it out if you are in the area and like the craft beer scene

I have been to village many times and found it a delightful local place to have a brew or two. Dave is an attention, friendly bartender with an excellent sense of humor that may not be appreciated by some people, but is always welcome in my company kudos to this Hidden gem in Mt. Holly!
I would give this place 0 stars. I had a very disrespectful bartender question me about my age because he said “ I looked too young to have a child” he continued to make inappropriate comments. Any normal bartender would just ID someone if they wanted to know they were of age to drink. He did not ask for my ID either, but felt it was necessary to question me about my age for having a child. It’s such a shame we live in a society where grown men feel comfortable enough to make comments like that towards women. First and last time coming to this place.
