We had a wonderful time. Hosted my sister's 50th Birthday here and everyone loved it, even the guys. Food was great and the atmosphere wonderful. Service was awesome , we were treated like family . There were a couple other parties at rhe same time but we felt like the only group. Excellent serive and food. Can't say enough good things about the staff and our experience here at Your Cup of Tea. Looking forward to another visit.Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot behind the building g. The walk to the front is relaxing and easy.

Celebrated my friends' birthdays today at Your Cup of Tea. The staff was sooo friendly, and service was quick. Upon arrival, they lend you hats and dainty gloves to wear, which made the experience much more fun. For men, they have top hats. It wasn't crowded when we went, but be sure to make a reservation to guarantee seating anyway. We found parking right in front of it, but I believe that they have their own parking lot in the back (not sure). Not a big place, but it has nice atmosphere for afternoon tea. They offer a great selection of sandwiches (you get to select 4 as part of the afternoon tea package), scones (select 2), desserts (assorted), and, of course, tea (Twinings teabags). Everything was delicious. They sang "Happy Birthday" to my friends with cupcakes and candles to blow. They have a small area in the back for young kids to have tea, complete with a wall of small hats for them to wear. The price for afternoon tea was reasonable at $29 per person, compared to elsewhere where you can easily pay upwards of $70. We'll definitely be going back.

I was really excited to try Your Cup of Tea! I reserved a table for me and my mom the Saturday before Mother’s Day. The tea selections were great, as were their tea sandwiches and scones. I will say, I felt pretty rushed, what was supposed to be an about and a half long tea party for me and my mom only took about 45 minutes. The owner was really involved as well, to the point of reading out loud the bill for the services. ? I really just wanted it to be a nice little surprise for my mom, and I had planned the rest of the day around this party, and was a bit surprised by how rushed I felt, to how the bill was delivered. It made me feel mistrusted as if they had assumed I would dine and dash? I’m sure that’s not the case, but it’s how I felt. Overall tea party was nice, except for the above mentioned things. I know they’ve been here for about a year, so I’m sure as time moves on things will smooth out.

Don’t waste you time on this place, arrive mid day to an empty restaurant and was turned away. Not the best business practice. It would have take me 30 minutes to have lunch.Update: the response from the business is totally inaccurate. The server told me point blank that one has to have a reservation ( to dine in an empty restaurant ) no exceptions. ?Understand I don’t live in Mt.Holly, but have noticed your shuttered restaurant while in town helping my husband with some stuff. I thought it would be nice to pop in one day when you were open.So I checked the store sign - it has your business hours list…You should probably change that to “ By Reservation Only “.Regardless - after the way I was treated, I wouldn’t go back to this establishment for anything.Shame on you!

Such a delightful afternoon shared with dear friends, wonderful delicacies and a very comfortable atmosphere. The proprietor was very interactive with us. Check out the teapots for sale, good variety! At must tearoom to visit.

With great community integration, treats to pair with your tea set, and meticulously chosen decór to liven up the atmosphere, Your Cup of Tea really shines! Although reservations are recommended, if seats are available, walk-ins are welcome. When I first visited this establishment, it was around Easter, where they had one of the workers dress in a fine costume and give Easter eggs out to the little kids, community interaction and support is always a nice thing to see. There are multiple packages to select from, which span multiple party sizes, even offering a senior citizen discount. The workers are friendly and kind, as well, serving you promptly and giving you exactly what you expect. In all, I would go again with a couple of my friends, it's a nice relaxing experience that anybody can enjoy.Parking: There's both on-street parking and a nearby parking lot that you can use for free, out back.

Always on the search for an afternoon tea place and I think I found my favorite one. Sue and her helper (I’m so sorry I forgot your name) were wonderful hostesses and made sure my group was well accommodated. It’s a very unique place as all the tea sets are different and gives each table a unique personality. There were hats and gloves available to wear that elevated the experience as a whole. I enjoyed the variety of scones and sandwiches to pick from instead of your standard menu you would usually get elsewhere. The price was reasonable for a table of 4. I had an amazing time and will definitely come back for more!

I had the privilege of visiting Your Cup of Tea today to surprise my 9 year old daughter with a "daddy daughter date". Neither of us had done this type of thing before, so we weren't sure what to expect. Sue and the young lady helping her made for a wonderful experience all around. The tea was delicious and may varieties, as were the sandwiches, scones, fruit and desserts. My daughter was given fancy gloves and a hat and I was given a top hat and bowtie to use for our fancy picture by the seasonally decorated Christmas tree. I can't thank you enough for providing a great memory making opportunity for us. Keep up the great work!
