Always a pleasure stopping in here! The usual jersey Italian hospitality, hard to beat. Sandwiches are fairly priced and are ALWAYS good. Firmly believe they need to be mentioned in the Michelin guide or given a star. We stop over here every time we come into Jersey from Philly. The bread is to die for, it rivals spots like delrossis or Angelo’s in Philly. Worth it every time!
Lou makes excellent sandwiches I had the Don and it is one of my favorite all time sandwiches. It’s an outstanding atmosphere and Paulette is very warm and inviting. This specialty Italian store is a must go If you like unique, authentic Italian goods.
