Stopped for breakfast after fasting lab work at local lab. Was anticipating a breakfast treat. Ordered (1) coffee ($3) and farmers omelet. Menu said mushroom, bacon, onion & Swiss. A few canned mushrooms, hardly noticeable bacon. Over cooked, dry. Did not enjoy it, ate it because I was hungry. It included toast and home fries; had better, had worse. Bill w/ tip was $20.00. Additionally, staff behind counter only complaining about customers and low tips. A turn off. Will not return.

My friend scheduled a "let's reconnect" meet up and he picked Paul's. I hadn't been there for years since we moved out of my Lakes. I remember they had Good good with excellent service but I have driven by hundreds of times and never stopped. Too bad because my Greek salad with chicken was a huge feast. The greens were fresh and crispy, the dressing (served on the side so you can add as much as you want) and the grilled chicken was done to perfection! My friend ate a vegi omelette and pronounced it very good. Overall, this was a great, classic diner experience. I awarded 4 stars since I don't do a 6 star "rave" on one visit but I'll come back and update after a dinner visit Lots of parking. Spotless and neat booth seating for us. A top of the profession very attentive waiter. BTW, I did the Yelp Elite thing, tipped on the card and then personally added a cash tip to the waiter with a compliment to the manager. Recommended for your next dinner meal. It will be mine.

Wish I had something good to say. Wait staff seems fine and the seating and vibe of the place is okay. But the food is just not good. Maybe I got the wrong thing. But I’ve never been anywhere that calls what I received “French toast.” Just some slices of bread buttered up and thrown into a pan, like they were trying to make a grilled cheese. No flavor, and some syrup packets they went and got from the local hotel. In fact everything we were served might have just been from a hotel down the road.

First time going to Paul's Diner. We ordered, French toast, French onion soup, corn chowder soup, Trenton deluxe burger and the meatloaf sandwich. What we would go back for is the meatloaf sandwich and French onion soup. Both were excellent!!! We would also back because of the service, our waiter was Andrew. He was very friendly and took our whole order without writing it down! We have a three year old, we asked if he had a paper plate for him to eat from, they did not but he came back with two other options for us to choose from. As a parent I very much appreciated that. We will be back very soon!
