Went for restaurant week and will definitely be back . Started with the crab cake and calamari appetizers. Amazing. Crab cake was perfect amount of crab accompanied by an amazing sauce and potatoes were a plus ! The calamari was great . Perfectly fired and the sauces were good too.Dinner we had a mix of things from salmon, steak, short rib, and chicken parm. Everything was delightful although the salmon was a little charred for my friends liking but it’s personal preference. Steak was cooked perfectly as well as the short rib. The chicken parm was made in vodka sauce ?? my favorite! . The spinach sides was garlicky (yes it’s a word) and totally my favoriteFast forward to dessert we had the “donuts” , molten chocolate cake and olive cake. The donuts were more of a flattened zeppole (still good) and served with Nutella. The olive cake was a rainbow of flavors from slaty to zesty to sweet. And of course the molten cake was amazing !Finally Jonathan our waiter was amazing. He was so good we laughed he had us mic’d up. Everything we were questioning he made sure was taken care of from more great to more water. He was amazing !Nonetheless we will def be back !

Martini was served in a champagne glass and spilled on my table. Waiter made no attempt to wipe it up. Pasta Fagiole soup was not good. Vegetables in soup were diced or random huge chunks. No quality in food. I ordered shrimp lemon pasta. Had the audacity to cut up the shrimp into small pieces. Might have been 3 whole shrimp in total in dish. Would not recommend this place at all. No pride in food served. Waste of $65 dinner.

W are lucky to have Al Ponte as a neighborhood resturant and go for dinner almost every week. We have had family celebrations and small dinners at the bar, and ALWAYS great food and service.Their fresh pasta and pizza are my favorites, while my wife enjoys their appetizers and cocktails. The best italian resturant in the area.

Great food and service. Brian the manager stopped by to make sure we were well taken care of - nice touch. I would definitely return to try more items from their menu.

Consistently very good food and friendly staff. There are rare misses (soup on one night out of many was too salty) but this remains one of my favorite local Italian restos.

Food was delicious. You can tell when pasta is made fresh. My red sauce was very good and so were the drinks. I’ll be back.

First just go, the food is great and enjoyable. It isn't like typical places around as far as the menu it will have you picking non ordinary things although it does have some usual staples. People have complained about the service but this is a place you go and enjoy and aren't rushed out. There is 2 places they need to work on here, first like before it's an older crowd, they need to get younger people coming in because when you walk in and 90% is older you may question things. Second the bar is dead. They need to get creative and get that full, especially with a happy hour and a bar only menu during that time to draw people in. It is a nice spot and will never be a local watering hole but some cool unique mixers and food items that will work. So anyway this place won't break the bank but isn't pizzeria pricing, relaxing and not rushed atmosphere with great food go there. This will be my new spot for Italian around here.

First time having dinner here for my sister's birthday. We had a party of 11. Noone was in the restaurant when we arrived. The food was below average and the service was not that good either. Waiter was nice but seemed new. Waited for water several times and strawberries for our Nutella pizzas which never arrived. When asked about them we were told that someone ran to the store to buy them. They should have told us they were out when we ordered. I saw a staff member vaping while working on the floor in restaurant. Will not be returning nor do I think this place will last.

Went here with a big group (10) including little kids. They were happy to seat us in the semi-private room that they weren’t seating that night, just because we asked for bench seating — which was so nice and they totally didn’t have to do that! The food was excellent. Pizza was so good. Pork chop, burger, homemade pasta. The salads were HUGE. Would definitely come back here!

The food was absolutely delicious! From the appetizer to the main course and dessert, everything was amazing. Although I am not usually a big fan of dessert and was already feeling full, I couldn't resist trying it since the appetizer and main course were so good. Dessert was great as well. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Been a few times. The first time we got pizza and drinks and it was fine. Went back a few weeks later, sat at the very empty bar (normally a good thing) and the drinks were eh and I got food poisoning. The only reason we returned for a third time was because it was the only place that had reservations on Mother’s Day (should’ve known). We waited for 30 minutes every time we ordered drinks - that includes simple beer orders. Food was slow to come out. Our server barely came around to take our order or check in, and the place was not even kind of full. Awful service. Aaannndddd my fiancé was the one that got food poisoning this time and all she has was cacio e pepe pasta. Which is basically just plain pasta. But I guess it was our fault for trying to go here again.
