I hadn't been to Jersey in a very long time and the first thing I needed was a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich! Irv's Deli and Restaurant to the rescue and my lovely, beautiful server who was amazing! The restaurant was tidy and clean, nothing fancy, a straight up Jersey diner. A cup of coffee and my sandwich was exactly right. This sandwich tasted exactly like I remembered it years ago and I wished I would have had time to come back, but my trip was over and I had to fly back to the land of no porkroll and bad pizza! Please support the gem! Delish! Old school and perfect!

Came here for a quick sandwich, and a breakfast sandwich …45 minutes later… The cook cannot multitask… And needs to be fired… The whole place needs a makeover… Hopefully we won’t die from the food

We had such a horrible experience in this restaurant. I ordered steak and eggs cut into the first bite noticed it was a little red cut into the second bite and thought geez, It’s cold in the middle. I picked up that piece of meat and flipped it over and the whole thing was raw on one side not even cooked. I was horrified. I’m still reeling from this experience! Did not offer to take it off the bill just put it right back on the grill and cooked it some more even with my bites taken out of it. I will never go back here again.
My family and I love to go to Irv's. We love the old Jersey diner feel, but it's fresh and clean inside. Proportions are huge! We always go there when we were looking for some classic diner food

The grilled pastrami sandwich was soggy and the pastrami was very fatty. They usually put a nice amount but today they bearly did. They charged $18.00 for this skinny sanwish
