One of the best Southern Down South Cuisine North of the Mason Dixon line. Great tasty southern soul food. The fish here is the best along with potato salad Mac and cheese, ribs fall right off the bone and back into my belly.

Very disappointed 😞 7/5/25 I spent over $30 for whiting that looked like they were cut in half the Mac n cheese was disgusting the banana pudding was watery the only that was ok was the cabbage. I'm wondering if the owner sold to someone else. I hadn't been to establishment in years I love to support black owned businesses. This was really disappointing.

They had no collard greens and no corn bread they put two slices of white bread on top of the dinner. I don't know if today was just one day that was not going well, but the food was not good at all. Used to be my very favorite place to get a wonderful dinner. The whiting was old, it even smelled bad. The mac and cheese was dry. The black eyed peas were tasteless and drowning in water. Sad. Just really, really sad.

Mom and Pop shop that’s owned by a local veteran. This is my soul food spot, this is my local spot. I’ve been getting the wings and ribs my whole life and whenever this family retires this place I will shed a tear.
My husband and I were there for the first time. We had fried fish, Mac and Cheese, candied yams, potato salad, fried okra and collard greens. When I tell you it was good my goodness the best southern food. And whatever you do don’t leave without the banana pudding. Friendly atmosphere and great service. Thank you Mr Jameson. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
