Local Smoke BBQ - Neptune City

We ordered 2 full racks of the St Louis ribs which were dry, tough and could not be eaten. Unfortunately, we threw a lot of it away. We came years ago and it was really good then. We made the approximate 35 minute drive each way and paid over $83 (including tax) for terrible food. I regret paying so much money for a meal that could not be eaten. Obviously, we're not going back.

This is barbecue, baby! No way fancy, it's the food, stupid!!
And the food and variety is real down-home good! Suggest a combo meal to taste test. Called in/picked up the order, which was ready when I arrived. They seem to have their act together!

Good BBQ option in Monmouth County. Sliced brisket and sides (collards, beans, cole slaw) were very good, but turkey was very salty for my taste...too much brining?
Needs an appearance refresh inside and out

I should have known this wasn't a real BBQ place when I couldn't smell any BBQ from outside. We visited on 7/6/25 and brisket was dry as could be and coleslaw was untouchable (it was all sticking together like there was melted cheese mixed in or something - it was really gross)

The food was fantastic! The brisket was tender and full of flavor. We had my son’s event catered, and the team was wonderful to work with. They not only delivered but also set up the food for us, which made everything so easy. Every single dish was delicious, our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. Highly recommend!
