Looking for good Ramen. Tried the chef special here. big thick pieces of pork, but not very impressed with the broth, not tasting a lot of depth.

Ramen was fine but the don buri is a scam. That is not my problem though, I had a "conv. fee" which I have not seen once in my past visits in other restaurants. Waiter did not say anything about it and I did not notice until I left. I paid through cash btw.

Jared was the best server. He was super kind, funny, and treats the customers well. Will definitely be coming back!

I love to try new ramen spots and I was so glad to discover this new spot near me!Ambiance- bold graphics on the walls and modern decor give this place a cool feel, perfectly fits into New Brunswick night-life culture- plenty of seatingService- friendly and attentive staff- food came out relatively quickly considering that we placed so many ordersDrinks:- Shiso Cucumber Sour- perfectly tart, strong, sweet and spicy! I love a tart, gin based cocktail and this one was delicious. The presentation was beautiful as well- Kobe Refresher- beautiful presentation! This drink was a bit too tart for me and I just wish the tea flavor came out a bit moreBig BitesOut of all these dishes, the bao buns were my favorite! nothing gets better than soft flavorful pork belly in between a soft bun. I'll definitely be ordering this again. Cucumbers were refreshing and delicious! Shishito pepper were a bit disappointing because the pepper were slightly over cooked and the sauce was hardened on to the plate before I could dip in the pepper.Main:The Chef's special ramen had great balance between the saltiness and slight kick of heat from the shoyu base. I Love that Yu Choy was included! I haven't eaten Yu Choy with ramen before and I was pleasantly surprised that it added some brightness to the dish. Also very glad that the soft and flavorful pork belly made another appearance in my bowl. I only wish that the portion was larger. For the price of the bowl, I'd expect a larger size that would be more filling.Overall, I enjoyed my meal and enjoyed some great conversations. I'm looking forward to see what other dishes I can try at Ani Ramen next!

The food itself was the definition of “mid.” The shoyu ramen tastes the same as the shrimp and wonton noodle soup you can get from costco’s frozen section. The chicken karaage tasted pretty good but we only got 5-6 pieces of chicken… The food is extremely expensive and not worth the hype. The atmosphere is nice and the service is quick but the quality and the quantity of the food is not worth the price point.

I’ve been to the Ani Ramen location (several times) in Newark and this place is no different! It’s great to see the consistency throughout the chain; this includes the service, the food, the environment. Today, Kevin and a woman with a very beautiful-unique name helped us and they were so wonderful! Big fan of Ani Ramen overall, and this location now too!

I've been to Ani Ramen locations in Montclair and Jersey City, so needless to say I was excited when I heard that my alma matter's city would be getting one. I've gone a few times now and I'm happy to say it lives up to the Ani experiences I've had before. The ramen might be slightly more expensive than competitors in the area, but it's offset by the cheap and delicious drinks. Huge ups to Kayla, who's always working when I go, and she's the best. Only thing I'd change is I wish the noodles were a little more al dente and the broth more thick/rich. Definitely will be back though!

I had the Vegan ramen bowl on Friday night. It was delicious. The perfect amount of spice, the noodles were on point, and all the flavors worked together to perfection. I'm still thinking about it today!

Amazing service! Such a vibe all the time. Right in the heart of downtown New Brunswick and great proximity to Rutgers college Ave campus. Great for a quick afternoon lunch or savory dinner. Wait staff is amazing and the food is amazing. No complaints.

Ani Ramen's vibe is definitely a step up from your regular ol' ramen restaurant. The atmosphere and decor are more modern. This location has a decently sized bar right when you walk in. Some nights even feature DJ's spinning at the entrance (we've had a few friends DJ here), which definitely adds to some fun. While their selections of ramen are more minimal than some other ramen restaurants, I think their appetizers are the bigger stars. Their edamame has the perfect amount of char & flavor. Their cucumbers are tasty. They have a variety of buns to choose from as well. This location is also in the midst of downtown New Brunswick, just a few blocks from RWJ and the Yard. Be prepared to circle around for parking but if you're okay with walking, it shouldn't be too bad.

Another new place in the forever-revolving-door of food places on the streets of new brunswick. Since it was located nearby my favorite dessert place, we decides to pop in and get some noods here. Would have also gotten some liquid fun if it weren't so early in the work day. Indoor and outdoor decor is very stylish and modern, with a newspaper print wallpaper that works very well with their edgy black chic. I felt cool young and hip by dining here. Menu is simple, although they did have some added specials (like kimchi ramen whatttt). We ordered a typical meal of shoyu ramen, apicy miso ramen and a pair of pork belly baos. There's plenty of optional add ons to customize your order, but we kept ours plain. My ramen came out pretty good. Loved my broth, flavorful without being overbearingly salty, although the noodles were definitely on the chewy side. Meat was varied and tender, and the basic toppings worked well. A bit small portion wise compared to what I expected, but actually perfect for me. The baos were also pleasantly delicious. Meat chunks were giant, and the veggie dressings appropriate. A bit messy to eat, but clean easy is never as fun. Overall a solid choice for ramen if I was conveniently in the area. I'd be curious if coming here late night would be a different experience too... lots of interesting drink options.

I love love love this restaurant, I’ve been to almost all the locations but this location was the best! Our waiters Vince and Soly were so nice and so helpful!

This Yelp event was so much fun! The dishes were so yummy and the drinks took the spotlight. My favorite was the mango slush and my favorite dish had to be the pork belly buns. The manager is also very sweet and charismatic. She made us feel welcome and provided excellent hospitality throughout the event

I loved this place so much I had to give it a second go! Again, everything was delicious. I had the bao buns again because they were that good. We also tried the wings which was so flavorful and so crispy. They were probably some of the best i've ever had. We also tried the Chef's special ramen and added two eggs and enoki mushrooms - so delicious! Service was tentative and upbeat.

Absolutely awful. Customer service the worst. Placed order on line at larchmont. 2 hours no food. Finally got through after trying 42 times. No one knows anything and the manager actually told us they don’t deliver. Can’t help us. Then left me on hold for an hour until I finally hung up. Now placing a chargeback with Amex. Don’t advertise a service you can’t provide. Seriously? You’re not a new company. Train your staff. Rude. Obnoxious. Don’t care. Never again
