All of the food but especially the seafood was so fresh and delicious. The owner told me he personally gets the seafood fresh each morning before sunrise. The presentation of the family style seafood feast was fantastic. We had octopus, shrimp, clams, mussels and so much more. The fruit drinks were made to order and they were fun and tasty - pineapple was a real favorite. It’s a great place for takeout and party platters too.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved watching them make the fresh fruit drinks (coring pineapple, watermelon, etc.)Parking: There are about six parking spaces along side of the building.

I ordered a Basa fish sandwich I'm not sure if it was the fish or tartar sauce that made me sick after 2 bites

I really wanted a better experience because it was a seafood restaurant in Somerset but my experience was unfortunately a 2 star. First I'll talk about the food. We ordered the calamari which had the right ratio of cornstarch to flour but was over cooked by a good 3 minutes making it very tough. I ordered the shrimp soup which was really just water and shrimp. I also ordered the stuffed lobster and my daughter the snow crab legs which both were tasty and the garlic sauce was delicious. The rice for the sides though was very bland. So my issue wasn't so much the food as opposed to the price which from where I see it was based in me being black and not Latino. Very sad, very very sad. So when I first ordered the lobster on the menu it said Market Price which is fair but, you charged $100 for a lobster that didn't even look like pound and was stuffed with about $20 of crab meat.. I was expecting for $100 at least a 2 pounder. This is not my first rodeo nor is this place the Chart House. Next while my daughter ordered the crab legs which on the menu stated $35.99 the server advised that the price is $50.00. Hmmm you changed the price on the menu just like that?? Well since my daughter did want them, we got them it is our fault we could have said forget it. But again it was the point, had we been Latino would you have just changed the price?? And no other prices were changed? If that's the case put MP next to the crab legs also. The server also seemed to change the price of the shrimp soup. It clearly doesn't specify if there was a small or large but then she says the large is $25.99 when I said you charged me the price on the menu $16.99 for a "small". So I asked to speak to the owner who wasn't there but the manager was. He said, I heard you had a problem with the lobster, well the prices have increased from where we get them. I said, ok if you say so. Let me ask you though, why weren't the prices changed on the menus before, he said, oh that's an old menu so I told the girl to change the prices. Wow if I was Latino would you have told the girl to change the prices?? Ay Caramba you got our $200 for sub par service and food. If another black person visits the establishment please do better. So sad.

I celebrated my birthday at Ay Caramba! I had fried tilapia. The food and service was amazing - we even took some tilapia home from their fish market, super fresh. I highly recommend it!

I’m so upset that moving from Essex county to middlesex county I can’t find a lot of great service stores. I couldn’t travel to Essex to go to my normal store so I decided to go here. The fish looked okay as the nice guy bagged it up for me, but once I got home to wash, season and cook the fish this is what I pulled out the bag!!!!!!! ?????? so now I have to improvise my dinner, the fish looks old on the actual filet side it feels old like rubber no way whiting should be like this unless it’s old. I’m highly upset at this, it only takes one time not to get my services, I’ll just continue to make the 40m drive back to Essex county.

I wasn't sure what was going on today or if the event taking place even had anything to do with the business but I have to assume since it took place in their property that they were involved in some way... but I was just driving by as I live a few blocks away and my mother always came to this place to get groceries, and realized they were giving away food for free help the community. I mean SO MANY PEOPLE came by or did the same as I did and drove by and simply stopped as there were many people and even towards the end there was still SO much food left to give away, as you could probably see in the pictures this was the tail end of it that I was lucky enough to catch and they were still insisting that I take as much as I can! So much great food from organic juice, to milk, bread, bagels to fresh vegetables by the Box as well as canned and jarred foods and all brand name food at that. They insisted I take stuff by the case as they didn't want anything to go to waste, so I thought it was awesome. So in my books they are amazing people for doing something like this no matter how big or small its great to see when people are giving back to the community!
