This is a great halal place not too far from the train station. The prices are quite reasonable, especially with the combo deals, and they have a great variety of burgers for people who prefer chicken or beef, or even mac and cheese/cheetos on their burgers! My brother and friend got the beef burger with the mac and cheese on it, and they both loved it. I personally like the classic chicken burger or the Chick Melt with fries and a soda. Their burger sauce is great and their portions are huge. The atmosphere is quite nice as well, with room to sit and eat.Dietary restrictions: This place caters to people who only eat halal.Parking: It's on a very busy road with limited street parking, so I prefer to walk from on campus.

I traveled over an hour to come here and try Buns n Shakes food. I was very impressed and it was even better than I thought it was going to be. Their smash burgers and Nashville hot chicken sandwich was really good! I tried a Reeces milkshake too which was very good!The owner was a very nice guy too! He had a smile, greeted me, asked me what my favorite food item that I ordered was.Overall great experience and I recommend you giving them a try!Parking: When I arrived, it was easy to find a parking spot.Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere inside!

Awesome place for comfort food in New Brunswick. The Mac n cheese bites are awesome. They pair it with a homemade “Big Mac sauce”. The cheese fries were great too, I believe they have their own homemade cheese sauce. Everything is priced in line with what you would expect for a local restaurant. It came to $35 for two people. Parking is a challenge but that’s New Brunswick for you.

The food was really delicious. Great ingredients. However I dropped $30 on lunch, and could hardly get a response, or smile, from the guy behind the counter. Their prices are outrageous. $11 for a milkshake. They even charge you .75 for whipped cream. It was all good, but won’t return based on pricing and service.

Buns N Shakes is a small venue w/4 tables & a window bench seating. There's metered street parking, & a paid parking garage across the street. It's has local burger joint feel, with an open grilling area that you can see. Graded are Chickcheetos, Smashmac, The Original (Double), Nashville Hot Honey (not pictured), Dynamite, & Lotus Biscoff Shake (not pictured). All were very good. Well balanced & messy, but in a fun way, I guess. This was a first, as I had to wait a long time for my to-go order, more about that at the end, I actually had time to low key ask other customers to grade their food. Unfortunately, the wait was long because they never processed our order. We had a number, & I sat and watched as the numbers after us came out, & then when I finally spoke to someone, I learned they never started our order. Apparently it was a printer issue, but again, the orders after ours were filled. The Woman at the counter apologized, but nothing else was offered. With that being said, the food was truly good, & I would definitely go back, hopefully for a more timely experience.
