Horrible experience today. They yelled at me in front of so many people, and one of the women treated me as if I had stolen something I had brought with me. Truly awful. I’m never coming back!

I picked up an order today. Did not get the sweet potato’s fries. I got regular fries. Didn’t get my drink. I parked a bit far away, so I called once I noticed. Called them, spoke to a young girl.Explained I didn’t get the right fries and no drink. She asked, are you sore cuz I remember making it. I said no ma’am. Look around there because I did not get it. Then I hit record. She then yells, , I don’t know what to tell you you lady, I gave it to you. She yelled this! I asked to speak to the owner, she said they aren’t here. I then asked to speak to a manager and she said, I already told you no one is here. I asked to speak to the manager that was there and she said no. She then yells, my gawd and throws the phone down. I know because I heard it hit something. I stayed on the phone silently then she hung up. I called back, a man answered. He said he was standing beside her and heard the conversation. He apologized for the drink. I told him the drink is no longer the problem. The attitude of that girl is. Itold she will ruin your business talking to people like that. He said, I understand, I will take care of that. I will not go back and will not recommend. Hate this for a small business as a business owner myself. I have zero tolerance for rude, disrespectful customer service. Such a shame I’ve heard great things about the food.

Place is a scam stealing Rutgers students money. Retail swipe is devalued here as there is no way to get 10 dollars worth with there ridiculous rules

They do not have that many vegetarian options, it needs to have more bulkier meals, everything is overpriced, no organization, lack of shopping space, no baskets to shop in.

What is wrong with them to change the policy that you are only allowed to get one drink per meal swipe?

It takes more than 30 minutes just to place an order. The line into the store is always long and the store is always packed full of people. You can barely walk around since people are packed like sardines. There are only three cash registers, which makes the process of ordering super slow. And the food is bland, so it’s not even worth the wait. They say they have a lot of options but when you’re in the store, there are only a few choices available in the kiosk. You can get more and good quality food at the dining halls instead if you are using meal swipes.

mad stingy with the swipes. they need to learn from kilmers.

this was extremely disappointed with both the service and the food. The staff was rude and uninterested in helping, and it took an unreasonable amount of time to get a menu and place our order. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and lacked flavor, completely unsatisfying and not worth the money. I would not recommend this cafe to anyone due to the terrible experience.

As a freshman who is already tired of the dining hall food, Cafe West is my go-to for food that accepts meal swipes. I usually order the fig, prosciutto, and arugula sandwich toasted and its absolutely delicious. It’s a big serving (literally took me 30 minutes to eat) and you can also buy chips and drink (with maybe $1 extra) with the meal swipe.

A bit expensive and usually very crowded. Good selection of foods. If you don't want hot food, you can usually skip the line that's out the door.

Breakfast swipe limit kinda wack. Don't like hot coffee and cold brew costs 4 dollars. Breakfast sandwich costs 4 dollars. Breakfast swipe 7 dollars. Gonna be over regardless. Hate to see it
