Stumbled upon this great cafe while passing through town. Lovely little spot but honestly it's actually quite spacious! Lots of places to sit and find a peaceful corner. Nice atmosphere and the waffle type grilled cheese is on point! I had a triple espresso over ice which apparently isn't a common order but was not disappointed at all. I love my coffee and this place hit the spot. The ham, egg, and cheese grilled cheese was buttery and delicious! Definitely would come back if I pass through again.
Very nice place to get a coffee, tea or — my favorite — hot chocolate. As good or better than the Starbucks down the street, just a wee bit less expensive. Friendly staff. They feature some baked goods which look okay. I’m mainly there for the hot stuff.
Coffee is better than leading commercial chains on same street; venue itself is open and airy. Delightful visit, will be back to sample the waffle sandwich.
My favorite tea, coffee, and bubble tea place in the area! It's a shame they won't let me enjoy a Angel from next door with my drink with their no outside food policy, and that their Italian ice is so overpriced for the portion sizes you get.
Without a doubt the best café to get work done in New Brunswick. The weird temperature and lack of plugs are to discourage people from camping out for hours.
Great hand crafted teas and coffees w nice service. Casual atmosphere great for work or personal meet ups.
An excellent place to host individual or group meetups as they have a lot of seating available and a nice, mellow atmosphere with free wifi and delicious coffee & snacks.
Decent coffee, voluminous seating. Coffee needed a few more degrees of heat.
Nice place, but -1 star for playing Charlie Puth for 2 hours straight :)
Nice place. Sit towards the rear. Very nice restrooms.

The cake I tried wasn't that good but the coffee was good and the interior is quite nice.
If you are in downtown New Brunswick, maybe visiting at Rutgers or stopping by the State Theater of New Jersey, this is an excellent spot to grab a coffee or bubble tea or quick sandwich. They have waffle grilled cheese with meat and eggs that is really tasty. A nice place for quiet conversation or study or work, but you have to buy food and you can't loiter (without buying something). A very nice college town cafe.
I didn't even know this Cafe existed! I'm a new student at Rutgers and have been trying to find a good place nearby my classes to relax and get work done while still disconnecting from atmosphere of the buildings I learn in to relax. This Cafe is very hidden, but I was delighted to find it. There is a lot of seating with dynamic areas to lounge in for whatever your study/work needs are. The cafe bar also has a wide variety of food and drink options as well as having aisan oriented drinks like bubble tea which makes for an interesting edition to your usual coffee shops. But of course there are your core cafe staples which are fairly good quality including a fantastically brewed cappuccino (and im picky about my cappuccinos )
I love how calm and quiet the cafe is and I loved the coffee aroma. The strawberry & cream cheese honey is prepared warm, however, the sides are too hard to cut. There is no filling just toppings, but still tastes delicious. I also had a taro ice bubble tea which had a sweet and refreshing taste. The tapioca pearls sometimes got stuck through the straw, but it still tasted delicious. The shrimp sandwich was crunchy and had a flavor that satisfied my tastebuds. You can only sit in the cafe if you buy good and they have a "no outside food" policy. I love how there are stairs that lead to more chairs and tables, it feels like a secret hideout. I would definitely come back for lunch.
They have the best treats. I love the bubble tea options and the pasteries are delicious!
