What a truly spectacular evening from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, everything felt special. The portions were absolutely perfect — generous without being overwhelming — and every single dish was unforgettable. We’re still talking about the food today. It’s so special to see a place run with so much heart, passion, and care. We are so grateful for such an incredible experience. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Casa Ragazzi is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated.

The food is nothing short of incredible. Every dish was beautifully prepared, impeccably balanced, and rich in authentic flavor, showcasing the finest ingredients. The pasta was absolutely perfect, the best I ever had.

The cocktails deserve their own standing ovation. Creative, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced, they paired seamlessly with the meal and elevated the entire experience.

The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. This is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit.

Impeccable service, outstanding food, and exquisite cocktails make this restaurant truly stand out. A must-visit for anyone seeking an Italian cuisine done exceptionally well.

Incredible dinner here. Atmosphere is refined without being stuffy. Every dish we had was noteworthy. They have a liquor license and cocktails (which are also great). Service is attentive without being overbearing.

Would totally visit again!

my boyfriend and i are huge fans of mangia toscano (easily a top ten restaurant in central NJ) so we were stoked to hear that they were opening up another restaurant. casa ragazzi delivers an exceptional experience in food, ambiance, and service. pictured is the lobster risotto and mushroom cavatelli - both phenomenal. what isn’t pictured was our appetizer (the coccoli). this plate legitimately brought me to tears with how incredible it tasted.

mangia toscano is very high class with every meal being fantastic, and casa ragazzi is no different. we were pleased with our experience from beginning to end and it’s a treat that new brunswick now houses a restaurant of this capacity. i can guarantee that you will not be disappointed during your visit!

Beautifully designed restaurant, poor area of New Brunswick. We sat downstairs which was extremely loud, but still designed well.

We ordered the ravioli and the puff pastries as apps. Unfortunately the ravioli wasn’t great and neither were the puff apps which were pretty disappointing.

The entrees were much better. Steak was delicious as was the chicken. We ordered the tiramisu (not pictured). While
It was very “Instagramable” it was very delicious, so hats off for that!

Service was ok. I’m not partial to young, inexperienced waiters. I’m sure once they find their footing theyll get more experienced waiters. Overall not a bad exp outside of the apps being a 2 out of 10.

I went for my 19th birthday with my parents, and we had such a great experience. The food was amazing, we truly enjoyed meal we ordered. The restaurant has a unique Italian vibe that makes the whole atmosphere feel special. The plate that stood out to me the most was the Calamari Fritti; it was perfectly crispy, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the night.

We only had one issue with the service: the risotto my parents ordered had a few problems, so we ended up taking it home. The manager/owner went out of his way to apologize, took the risotto off the check, and even did something special for the occasion, which truly moved us, since he didn’t have to do that. We really enjoyed all the desserts he brought, and thanks to his kindness we still left with a great overall experience. We will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I go to Italy every year and this is the best authentic Italian food we have had outside of Italy! The food is excellent. Our waitress Maddie was great and the atmosphere is gorgeous! I’m so grateful to have found REAL Italian food in NJ! We will definitely be back. Thank you!

We are big fans of Mangia in Metuchen so of course we had to come here! Food was amazing (as expected). The octopus was perfection and this was some of the best calamari I’ve ever had.

Service was absolutely exceptional. Our waitress Allie was very attentive and her and Bruno took such good care of us during our visit. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Simone. Definitely coming back here regularly!

I found this restaurant because a friend found it and wanted to try it so I Googled it and saw very high ratings and very good reviews and great pictures and also a $$$$. Maybe only three but it seemed a little pricey so I work in restaurants and service in New Brunswick is great so I figure it just be phenomenal fancy Italian food.
We got there and ambiance was definitely upscale and modern! Very good looking interior and servers looked good and bar is gorgeous!
We get sat and our server is a big Italian guy with a deep voice. He was a very good server in terms of making sure he's around and good delivery and all that. My problem was he didn't tell us anything about the food or pasta or anything. We looked at the menu and ordered.
Of course we wanted the pasta course at a place like this! We ordered a radicchio and blood orange salad which was crisp and tart and sweet and fantastic! Then we had fried calamari which was very crispy and a small portion but fitting for a super fresh menu. The calamari was just regular calamari with good sauces. I don't think it was super local from Rhode Island or cleaned properly I could still feel the thin skin.
Next course pasta!
No it was the branzino. Weird because the fish was secondi and pasta was primi but the fish was awesome salt crusted branzino! Only complaint I have was table side service. The gueridon was up high and 3 feet away and our server didn't speak as he spooned it off of the bone. We couldn't see it but the fish was so juicy and so soft! So so good worth every penny of the $70!
Next course pasta and Lamb?!
The lamb was phenomenal! Perfectly cooked maybe sous vide it was that perfect all the way through! And everything on that plate was perfect! Yet the pasta oh the pasta that I thought would be perfection ...
Tagliolini Limone with shrimp!
Very similar to cacio y pepe with lemon and cream! Should be light and creamy and lemony with some black pepper kick!
First off it was thick fettuccine. It was perfectly made fettuccine but thick definitely. I'd call it a 4 on my machine but I go thinner to 5 or 6.
It was still good though but the sauce was not. It tasted like cacio y pepe that got to hot and cooked the cheese before it melted so it was grainy and not a hint of lemon. My mother didn't like that there were only 3 shrimp but for a pasta course I told her it's fine but it wasn't three shrimp... It was 1 and a half sliced down the middle but totally worth the $35 if the sauce was creamy and smooth and lemony.
Overall I probably would not go back because there are multiple places at reasonable prices with fresh pasta that is actually well done and service definitely was probably a fluke but at a place that expensive it shouldn't happen.

We had a wonderful dinner at Casa Ragazzi. Started with the burrata, octopus, and bolognese as a starter and everything was delicious. I had the beef cheek ravioli which was so tender and tasty. I tried the cod, perfectly cooked. We had the Melodia Autumn dessert and that was my favorite. The Tiramisu was very light and airy, mildly sweet. The cocktails were delicious, but strong.
