I have heard many great things about Clydz, but after reading the reviews here, I started to get nervous. We had no issues at all! Our cocktails were fantastic, and so was our food. The truffle fries might have been the best thing I ate all week! The ricotta gnocchi half portion was rich, delicious, and so flavorful. My husband had the steak special and it was cooked perfectly. We would go back again!
The food was overcooked to the point we sent it back. The menu was so limited that bread and butter were not available even when requested. The restaurant seemed to have one purpose and that was to turn the tables as often as possible.
Clydz unfortunately was not to to par or expectations when it comes to customer service. They sat us in the middle of the dining room so we moved to a booth. The host came over and asked if we told anyone that we were moving. I said no. She told us we couldn't sit in the booth and we had to move and the only table that was available was back in the middle of the dining room. I had made a bar reservation to begin with and they sat us in the dining room. She also said the bar is first come first serve though I did make a bar reservation (which I showed her on OpenTable.) Very rude of her, and also we had two cocktails at the bar and it took us 15 minutes to square up our check.
Clydz has been a beacon of excellent libations and creative modern American as well as classic dishes to chose from. Definitely a cozy place that is always busy. Food and Drink options are 100% A+++, haven't been disappointed in almost 20 years.
Cocktails were good but took a long time to receive. Duck breast special was so overdone but the pork chop was excellent. Did!”n't have any duck cassoulet which is one of the reasons we chose this place. Butterscotch budino was great.
Fantastic restaurant for a business meal. It was very good and our waitress was fantastic.
Amazing drinks! Cozy place.

Our first experience at Clydz was wonderful. Our waiter, Armand, made us feel special. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Chicken skewers and Grilled oyster appetizers were delicious. I had barramundi for my entree. The portion was generous and the preparation perfect. We will definitely return to try other menu items.
Cozy martini bar that offers a blend of ambiance, flavor, and charm. The martini selection is impressive as well as their food options. Great spot for date night or a large group.

The food here was very good, but the service was very slow to start. It took a while to get our drinks and for the waitress to take our order. It then appeared that more staff came on shift and the service improved some. Overall a nice experience and I will try it again.

Amazing cocktail bar for after work or late nights. Servers and bartenders are super attentive and have a great attitude. The 1920’s aesthetic is so cool and refreshing, no one who comes here acts like an ass hat either. Environment is super swell and I always look forward to coming here
Also whoever plays Kanye on aux throughout the night just know you have a special place in my heart

This timeless restaurant stands as a crowning piece for this town. The cocktails are impeccable and the food is nothing short of marvel. Despite the restaurant being packed to brim, they still presented their very best. I look forward to coming back on a regular occasion.

This place was horrible. You walk In to a dark and dingy bar. Up to the dinning room which is equally horrific. It took the waitress 20 minutes to bring our bottle of wine. I had the veal Milanese my husband had a burger. We both went home and got violently ill, puking all nigh. Needless to say I would never go back.
Was my go-to bar while staying in New Brunswick!
The atmosphere is great, the staff is so kind and the service is great and fast. The food menu is quite specific (at least the late night menu) and I did not really find it for my liking, I don't know if its considered classic American but I did not find it great as non-American who is open minded to try different and new food types. The burger was mediocre and not cheap.
They do have a great range of alcohol and cocktails though! Price is between 10-30$ per person for a drink or a drink + some snacks/food.
Clydz is great overall, offering outdoors seating, great and fast service and one of the only options which are open till late night. The place is a bit empty midweek but full of people during the weekends.
