Over-rated and overpriced. It's New Brunswick, not NYC. Food was only so-so. Had the Long Island Duck Breast and the tiniest oysters I've ever had at a restaraunt for $3.50 each. I love my oysters and was very disappointed! The duck was served in a giant plate, covered with a pound of lentils and enough multicolored fingerling potatoes for all of Ireland. All that was topped with 4 bite-sized pieces of cold unseasoned duck. But the kicker was being charged $4 for the ice cube in my Johnnie Walker! Yes, they charge you for the ice in your drink. I pay $4 for a 24 pack of water. Wonder how many ice cubes I could get out of that? Stay home and order in or go to McDonalds.
P.S. I rarely write reviews.

Brandon was our server and the service was great! The hostess on shift was pleasant and the food/drink delivery was gracious and friendly. The bar also did a great job on drinks. Try the Lavender Rush!

Great food, good service, excellent drinks. Loved the Square terminals to pay right at the table.

Had the applewood smoked bacon, perogies, and chicken parm pizza with an Old Fashioned. They were all very good.

The atmosphere is great especially the bar area. It feels like an underground speakeasy. The drink menu is filled with yummy and interesting drinks as is the food menu. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Nice date place

Clydz has always been one of my favorite bars, a go-to spot for a good time with family and friends. However, my recent visit was a little disappointing because of an unpleasant experience. After enjoying two rounds of drinks and paying our tab with the minimum tip, we all decided to stay for another round. To our surprise, the bartender refused to serve us, citing that we did not tip enough. It’s odd to me that we were refused service for this reason, considering that there are probably many others who don’t even tip in general. This was a disappointing departure from the usually welcoming atmosphere at Clydz and left a sour note on what should have been a fun evening. Because of this experience, I will think twice before choosing this bar as a place to visit.

Really great cocktails, tons of options with lots of new options by the season (cucumber gimlet and lavender rush some person staple favorites) and some Truffle fries that are to die for!!

Clydz has great ambiance, great history behind it, with a more relaxed atmosphere as opposed to other stifling restaurant atmosphere. The food is delicious and memorable! Will come again and again and again!!!

Restaurant week in New Brunswick. Hidden location down the steps. Bar with indoor or outdoor dining. Great spot for a date or casual night out. Recommend reservations. Parking deck down the block or street parking if you're lucky. Service was attentive. Appetizer, entree and desert came out on time. 9.7/10

Dining experience took longer than expected. Duck confit was not cooked well. Other than that, the rest of the food was good and presentation was nice. Atmosphere was unique and service staff were attentive.

Not sure how this place has such high reviews. Food was forgettable, service wasn't great, and the prices for what you get are outrageous. no thanks
