I've visited this restaurant on several occasions and have always left with a positive impression. Saturday evenings host live entertainment and the blues inspired music was entertaining. I was seated on the 2nd floor so the music was not too loud, but I can imagine that it would be hard to hold conversation if you were seated on the 1st floor. Our meals were well presented and tasty. Overall, great experience and would visit again.

Exceptionally delicious, from the hostess, to our waiter, meal, cocktails, the works...!!!

Was excited to have my date night at Delta's as it's been years since I've been. Ambiance was good, our waitress was phenomenal and attentive. I wasn't a fan of the new menu layout as much as I was in the past. It maybe not be new but it's new to me since it's been a while. Some things were delicious and others were just ok. Drinks were delicious with the exception of my date having a chopped glass to drink his beer. I will probably not be back for a while but it's worth a try.

The New Brunswick staple, Delta's, has been a go-to for fantastic soul food for over two decades, but something felt different on this visit. The once-familiar menu has undergone a significant shift, with many beloved dinner entrees and the usual side options no longer available. While it's common for restaurants to introduce seasonal dishes, the complete overhaul of the core offerings—including the main plates and accompanying sides—suggests more than just a seasonal change. The dramatic culinary pivot raises the question of whether there's been a recent change in ownership or management, leaving me to wonder if the soul of Delta's remains the same.

Delta's ambiance is always a vibe...but I think they have a new chef because the grits weren't the same this time around

I brought my Mom to Delta's for her 60th birthday dinner celebration & although the food was amazing as always, I couldn't help but feel disappointed that Delta's changed their menu prohibiting guests to select their own side orders or pay an up charge to select their sides I want. Ex. They paired the oxtails with grits. I enjoy both oxtails and grits but I do not want to eat them together. I certainly didn't like that I paid entree prices & paid additional fees to buy the sides I actually wanted. Sad to say, I will not be returning until they change this policy & allow patrons to order and pay for what they want without coercion to eat what Delta's feel I should pair my entrees with. Sincerely, disappointed customer.

Deltas' is a place of rest and relaxation when it comes to down home food. Ambiance was great. Music playing in the background. It's small but cozy.

Hostess was very cognizant of the notes I wrote when making the reservation for our anniversary. Side portions are huge and so delicious. Our waiter was professional and attentive. Food is amazingly, but I would skip the souliidas next time. Love this place!!

I love Delta's. I haven't been in a few years and I definitely wanted to revisit for my birthday. What a drastic change to the menu. The selection was not what I was accustomed to. I was looking for the old soul food southern cuisine but it changed. The food I ordered was delicious but everything is separate now as a upcharge add on like a steak house. You use to be able to order southern fried chicken, smothered chicken etc. with two sides but it's not that way anymore. I hope they bring back a more southern menu. It sort of Louisiana/ traditional kind of southern.

The owner is very cunning by placing on the bill an "Entertainment" cost and gratuity. The bill also comes with a line to provide a tip. To the Owner, a Gratuity, is a TIP!. Overall, the food was too pricey for such mediocre quality. I felt as though, I was duped! I an never coming BACK!

I went here to celebrate my brother's birthday because he loves live jazz. We came from Philadelphia and It was worth the drive. The signature chicken was ok, but the cheesesteaks rolls, mac and cheese, and oxtails with grits, lump crab cakes were amazing. The waiter/bartender Randy was great. The drinks he made were delicious. If I'm every in the New Jersey area again I would go.
