What a great resaurant. We ordered two appetizers (Oxtail Empanadas, Catfish Fingers) and three sides (Candied Yams, Cornbread Basket, Collard Greens). They were all delicious. We then took a break with a cup of tea, followed by two desserts (Banana Pudding, Sweet Potato Pie). They were both great, but the appetizers and sides portions were so large that we couldn't nearly finish the desserts. The service was fantastic, indulging our lack of urgency - just the opposite. Delta's was a 2 minute walk from our hotel. We had dinner there. We were welcomed in a courteous manner and seated immediately. Our server was friendly and engaging. He placed our food orders and we received our dinner items in a timely manner. Our dinner was tasty and enjoyable.
Food and service was great. Our first time there and we will return. We tried the southern fried chicken and it was perfection. My husband loved the Mac & Cheese and wished he could have taken leftovers with us, but we were headed to the theater afterward. Even commented this morning that he would have loved to eat it for breakfast!
