I had a decent experience at Esquina Latina and only opted for appetizers since we had a long day and wanted to get home. The Empanadas (5/10) were just ok and really bready which I wasn't a fan of, I didn't eat the last one. The Wings (7/10) were pretty good, we got the sweet chili flavor. The Shrimp (6/10) was ok but nothing crazy. Lastly, the Yuca dish (5/10) didn't have much flavor. Not sure what I was expecting but I wouldn't get them again. The service was good throughout out time there so that was a positive. The food however didn't leave me wanting to go back. It's possible the entrees are better than the apps.

Our waiter (John) and the manger (Emerson) were so nice! We came to celebrate my friend’s birthday on a Wednesday night . The ambiance and music was so liveky. The cocktails were so yummy and the appetizers were so yummy! Thank you guys ! Great vibes !

Good was amazing & presentation was beautiful. The staff was polite, professional, & knowledgeable. The manager came out to greet us to see if we were enjoying ourselves. Wonderful place!Parking: Paid parking across the street
I ordered a coke and I didn’t like the syrupy taste so very respectfully I asked my server to please take it back since I wasn’t going to drink it. She was visibly upset and stormed off with my drink and I watched her go up to a male server and he took the same straw I had just drank from and rolled his eyes and threw the straw….much later after dinner we ordered dessert. While we were patiently waiting our server, she came back to the table and with an attitude asked if we had the bill ready “or what” and we told her we were still waiting for our dessert to which she replied “oh yeah that’s right, I forgot”The food was excellent and it came out very quickly. The photographer was also very sweet and took great pictures that we ended up purchasing. We had a great time, we just wish the server, Andrea Moreno, could have gave us better service.

Do not miss this hidden gem! Amazing flavorful cuban food in the heart of New Brunswick. Highly recommend the costillas in guayaba bbq sauce, beef empanadas and orange sangria! The atmosphere is upscale and laid back at the same time. Our server, Jessica and the whole staff were an absolute pleasure! Will definitely be back for some salsa on a Tuesday!
My favorite restaurant in New Brunswick! The food and drinks are always delicious and fresh and the atmosphere is beautiful during the day and a fun turn up spot in the evening. Our waitress and the rest of the staff and manager are always so attentive and friendly as well. Perfect for a date night and a girls night out!

This was our first time here. We went for dinner prior here on 4/9/24 to show at State Theatre. Both of our dishes were excellent. I had the churasco (skirt steak wrapped around veggies & taters). My husband had the oxtail in a redish sauce. The dishes had so much great flavor without being spicy or over seasoned or salted. cocktails were excellent as well. I had mojito, husband had sangria. Service was very efficient and friendly. We sat outside, were the only ones initially so I was a little concerned we'd be forgotten about as can happen but it was perfect. Will definitely go back.

The food was great. The service was good.The dance floor opens at 10pm. I didn't see it get packed til 12. There's no place for u to hang ur jacket. The space to dance is small.The DJ played Spanish music all night.Parking: It's small space for parking so it took long for me to find somewhere else to park.

I've been here a few times. I was a little disappointed in the food this time. I had the pasta serafin. It was too hot for my taste and not that interesting. My dining companion had a grilled vegetable platter that had a nice, colorful selection of vegetables. We enjoyed our cocktails. We ordered guacamole, but it never came. The staff was quite friendly.
