I was very disappointed after my recent visit. Insomnia cookies are absolutely amazing. Today I was not able to say that. There were no cookies prepared. What should have been a quick interaction was over extended. One thing I appreciate about insomnia cookies are how soft they are but today was my first time ever eating a hard cookie! This location really need improvement. Another customer came in while I was waiting for my order. After not being helped because the staff was in the back the customer left.

Went here with my family to get some desert. The cookies smelled delicious. But apparently the do not take cash, but expect a cash tip? I don’t really recommend this place. The area is not so great, parking is horrendous. But it’s also near Rutgers university.

I wish I didn’t have to write this review as I really like their cookies..but when I received my order tonight for the salted caramel cookie it was completely raw like liquid raw. I had to throw them in the oven which is absurd to even do since I already waited long to get my order and I ordered it an hour ahead…this is unacceptable to me and I’m frustrated the cookies are visibly raw.

Service is terrible. Placed an order ahead of time to be picked up at 5pm. Got there at 5pm and the girl working the front said ~10 more min, okay that’s fine. About 20-30 minutes pass and another girl comes to the front, looks at me and my friend, then goes to the back and loudly says to her coworker “what are these 2 Asian people waiting for”. Well, if my order was ready at 5pm like it was supposed to, I wouldn’t be sitting around in your store until 5:45… also after all that time waiting they still managed to forget to give me one cookie from my order
I ordered Insomnia via DD so I cannot rate the service or atmosphere but the cookies were delicious. Definitely a bit decadent and pricey but worth the splurge.
