I've never been to such a stingey sub shop in my life. I got 2 half subs and they were going to put 3 pieces of meat on each of them. When I asked to pay for extra meat on the subs, they asked how many slices I wanted and them weighed the extra? It was a weird experience and despite all of the topping I got on my sandwiches, they were still dry

Convenient sandwich shop with a deli counter. I always get sandwiches but they’ve got soups, sides, and breakfast stuff too. Good food

This Is One the Better Sub Spots... Gotta at Least Offer Wheat Bread Which They Did... Simple Menu... I Get Turkey So I Wish Places Could Offer Turkey Bacon... Besides That the Honey Glazed Turkey Was Good and I Liked the Amount of Turkey Given and How It Was Made... And the Lady Who Made the Sandwich Was Very Nice... Good Price About $8 Bucks For My Half a Whole Sandwich... 4.45 Stars...

I grew up on there hot pastrami subs and let me tell you they’re one of a kind. I wish the pastrami subs were as good here in Baltimore as they are in Jersey ,I can’t even lie. Check them out if you haven’t already it’s a great establishment with great tasting food!

Try their Jersey Best with extra coleslaw and everything (including mayonnaise and vinegar) and you’ll become a regular!

The subs were really fresh and big!
Items Ordered:
-Honey Maple Glazed Turkey w/ Provolone Sub
-Ham, Salami, Provolone Sub
-Mixed Salad: Nice and filling. Great price.

I wish they put just a tiny bit more meat, but the subs were fresh and delicious. I will definitely order regularly.

Best subs in Jersey. The salami taste great and is not to salty. The bread is fresh and you can get a sand in about 10 minutes time.

Usually good. Terrible this time. Dropped food off, never rang bell. Just lost a regular.

Was excited to come in and try this New Brunswick stalwart sub shop. It’s often better to go local than chain. We arrived in time for peak lunch; there was a line of about 5 people ahead of us. They move the line very quickly (maybe too quickly - orders were misheard but quickly remedied). The woman at the fixings counter is extremely nice. There was plenty of meat on the sandwich, although my son notes Jersey Mikes uses 3 slices of provolone on a regular, here they do two. Choices for toppings were lettuce tomato onion oregano oil vinegar Mayo banana peppers and cherry peppers. I didn’t see any Cole slaw which was too bad; another reviewer suggested it on the Jersey Best. The biggest reason this gets a 4 is that the bread is not fresh. You want to amp up a pedestrian sandwich? Use great fresh bread. But to ruin an otherwise good sandwich - use day old bread. I’m not sure if earlier reviewers are correct that there was a recent ownership change and an attempt to save money, but this is the way to ruin your investment and go out of business. We didn’t try any breakfast, hot subs or soups so I cannot opine on those. But the lack of fresh baked bread at a sub shop is alarming.
