This Is One the Better Sub Spots... Gotta at Least Offer Wheat Bread Which They Did... Simple Menu... I Get Turkey So I Wish Places Could Offer Turkey Bacon... Besides That the Honey Glazed Turkey Was Good and I Liked the Amount of Turkey Given and How It Was Made... And the Lady Who Made the Sandwich Was Very Nice... Good Price About $8 Bucks For My Half a Whole Sandwich... 4.45 Stars...

I grew up on there hot pastrami subs and let me tell you they’re one of a kind. I wish the pastrami subs were as good here in Baltimore as they are in Jersey ,I can’t even lie. Check them out if you haven’t already it’s a great establishment with great tasting food!

I've been trying to get to Jersey Subs when in town, but one thing prevented it until now: They are not open on the weekends and only until open until 5PM on weekdays. Interior is nice and the place feels a little retro. It was a quiet morning when I visited and I received prompt service. Menu consists of breakfast items, subs/sandwiches, and soups. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich which was only $5. It was tasty and reasonably sized. Friend had me pick her up a Jersey Super, and her comment was simply "It was ok." When I get back here again, the breakfast platter and soup menu both caught my attention as something worth trying.

Friendly & accommodating staff, vintage decor, delicious sandwiches. I get turkey and cheese though. I haven't tried their pastrami yet and I feel like that's when you really know how good a deli is. It's the pastrami. So I'll be back to update when I'm brave enough to try. Til then, they get five big stars from me. Bread is fresh so good.

Best subs in Jersey. The salami taste great and is not to salty. The bread is fresh and you can get a sand in about 10 minutes time.

Usually good. Terrible this time. Dropped food off, never rang bell. Just lost a regular.

Was excited to come in and try this New Brunswick stalwart sub shop. It’s often better to go local than chain. We arrived in time for peak lunch; there was a line of about 5 people ahead of us. They move the line very quickly (maybe too quickly - orders were misheard but quickly remedied). The woman at the fixings counter is extremely nice. There was plenty of meat on the sandwich, although my son notes Jersey Mikes uses 3 slices of provolone on a regular, here they do two. Choices for toppings were lettuce tomato onion oregano oil vinegar Mayo banana peppers and cherry peppers. I didn’t see any Cole slaw which was too bad; another reviewer suggested it on the Jersey Best. The biggest reason this gets a 4 is that the bread is not fresh. You want to amp up a pedestrian sandwich? Use great fresh bread. But to ruin an otherwise good sandwich - use day old bread. I’m not sure if earlier reviewers are correct that there was a recent ownership change and an attempt to save money, but this is the way to ruin your investment and go out of business. We didn’t try any breakfast, hot subs or soups so I cannot opine on those. But the lack of fresh baked bread at a sub shop is alarming.

I just happened to begin working in town and my co-workers had this place on their rotation before I even started. It's very good and consistent. I have been here about 4-5 times since I started over the past few months. There is a very nice selection of subs that range from Italian to American to Veggie. They offer wraps, white and whole wheat bread, which is nice. The bread is fresh and the meat and cheese is sliced in front of you fresh. I have stuck with turkey clubs and turkey ham subs. The shop is located in downtown New Brunswick and at lunch time it gets busy. Prices are very reasonable and service is always good and friendly. Plenty of places to sit and eat there if you desire.

Just had Jersey Subs for the first time! It was perfect! Plenty of meat and toppings! The way a sub should be. Made fresh! Keep doing what you're doing! Jersey Mikes could learn a thing or two about how a real sub should be made.

I have been going here for years & I used to love them… I went there a couple of weeks ago & I will never go there again… I paid 8 dollars for a half pastrami sub… was very disappointed when I went home and realized I only had 2 pieces of meat on my sandwich… the new owners are Indian
