It's a tiny place that serves a good breakfast. Service was attentive. Blueberry pancakes was very good with real BB's in and on the pancakes. I had the spinach cheese omelette with home fries and toast, which was also good. Coffee is so-so. We had a friend at RWJ hospital, so that's what brought us to the area. Overall, a good experience and I would go back.

I recently visited Sol-Kalanits in New Brunswick, and I was very pleased with the experience. The service was good attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The food was great, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations. It’s definitely a spot I’d go back to and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality breakfast experience in the area.

It's a decent place to eat at if you in the area. Very homie simple dishes. I liked it. The place does need some TLC. Small place but not bad to grab and go.

Small home in the wall cafe offering good breakfast options. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Coffee was very good ☕. Nice variety of platters. They also offer fresh squeezed orange juice.

Delicious spot for breakfast and brunch! I love the chilaquiles. Also, the waitress was very friendly and helpful to my father who uses a walking aide. Really appreciated the friendly feel.

Cute little spot with good food and reasonable prices. Music playing in the back adds just the right touch. Service was on point and host was personable.

Do not miss this place for breakfast. Awesome food and great place. Get there early because it has few tables. If you are staying at the heldrich hotel, it is only a five minute walk at most.

Ordered a veggie platter from here, I don’t eat meat. Of course my veggie platter came with a pile of meat. When I called back the owner was very dismissive, over talking me while I was asking for him to remake my meal away from meat and eventually hung up on me!? I just went to get my money back and never went back… until I mistakenly went to another location they own and had the same problem happen 😂 Che n out the review for Sol-brunch.

Great little spot in New Brunswick!
We stopped by Sol-Kalanit after a skills class at work and were pleasantly surprised. It’s a small place with about six tables—clean, cozy, and presentable. The food came out quickly, which we appreciated because we were hungry! We ordered two breakfast dishes and two lunch dishes, all of which were solid. My friend had the freshly squeezed orange juice, it looked amazing and fresh, and she confirmed it tasted just as good.

The only server on duty was polite and attentive, though a bit on the quiet side. Our only real complaint was with the eggs: I asked for over medium and got well done, and my friend’s over-easy eggs were also cooked too much. Aside from that, everything else was great.

One thing to note: the bathroom is located outside the building, but it was very clean and well maintained. Overall, we’d definitely come back when we’re in the area again!

Delicious breakfast today at this local shop. Huge and tasty. The fresh orange juice really hit the spot. And the coffee is strong. I had the French toast and eggs special hold the meat because I’m vegetarian (though I eat eggs and dairy). They had no problem accommodating my request.

I had a friend visiting me in New Brunswick last summer, and he requested that we go get brunch at a cheap place by the train station. After some research, I found Sol-Kalanits, and my life changed for the better. We were both incredibly impressed by the quality of the food and service and for an affordable price! Now, whenever I have a visitor, I take them here for breakfast, and they all give it five stars. I dream every day of their breakfast potatoes and freshly squeezed orange juice.
