SOL-KALANIT'S Restaurant & Coffe

A charming place with delicious breakfast and lovely service! We walked here in the AM as it was near our hotel. The breakfast platter is absolutely delicious, as is the coffee. I have been meaning to write this review months ago, but life got in the way. Wish places like this were around when I was a student on campus but happy to see that it’s really changed here. Affordable too! Recommend!

Kalanit's is a tiny (twenty seats in six tables) restaurant which is practically the epitome of the "hole in the wall" establishment. But the food is very good and comes in large portions. The staff was friendly and attentive and handled an accidental spill by one of our party with aplomb.

Hearty and eclectic menu, very friendly and attentive service. I didn't see a restroom for customers, but to be fair, I didn't ask, so perhaps there was an option that I didn't see. Overall, I was happy and will plan to come back!

The coffee was good but "bagel with cream cheese" was bad. There was barely any "cream cheese" on the "bagel" but it was for the better anyways because it tasted off/expired. "Bagel" tasted and resembled more like a thick piece of bread.

Place is on the small side and can be a hassle to find a table. Depends on how busy they are. Staff is friendly and bilingual. Everything is clean. Food was great with a large menu full of options. Wait time was long maybe due to large party at the time we went.

Vegetarian options: I didnt see clear options but im sure they can accommodate with your preference

Parking: Parking can be a hit or miss depending on what day/time of the week you go.

The food is very delicious, the chef is very friendly......but the waitress has a terrible attitude, very rude...it is not enough to provide good service to customers.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Had halal meat options as well. Food and drinks were great. Only suggestion is to add more drink options such as iced latte and espressos.
