They were one of the first halal Mexican Chipotle-style spots to open in the area, and at the time it was exciting to finally have that option. Unfortunately, they’ve really fallen off. The food just doesn’t taste as good as it used to, and compared to the newer halal spots that have opened nearby, the difference in flavor and freshness is obvious.
The meats aren’t as well-seasoned, and overall the bowls feel underwhelming. Just because a restaurant is halal doesn’t mean the Mexican authenticity and bold flavors should be compromised. The seasoning, balance, and overall taste should still reflect real Mexican-style cuisine..
With so many better-tasting options now, it’s hard to choose this place anymore. I hope they step it up because they were once ahead of the game.

This is one of my favorite places to eat between classes. I especially love getting the bae bowl and it's always so fresh, and the salsa and sauce is so good! It always lasts me two full meals because the portion size is really generous. Everyone there is also so nice and welcoming so I love coming here and will definitely be back.

Food was great! As soon as we walked in, the owner greeted us politely and treated us with love the entire time. He gave us student discount too which was amazing! The store was clean and food was fresh. 10/10

Be careful before ordering from here. Ordered delivery and got cheated. Everything is salty except absolutely no salt on corn chips, lacks a lot of stuff no pico degallo or salsa. Even though they claimed they are out of Guacamole. So what Mexican restaurant ever not have Guac??? So as a compensation they Just gave small little container of Queso since they were out of Guac. And Left a note in big bag of chips with tiny Queso instead of calling or refunding money. The Queso does not taste like Queso but mire like a rooh made of cheese and flour. Euk! Quesadilla should have had vegies this is oozing with garlic cheese. And they didn't even give side of salsa or pico de gallio. And the Three Tacos are over stuffed, very salty and unable to pick up as they are mushi and needs fork and knife to eat with. Three tacos only stuffed tons of rice and beans very few tomatoes and lors of lettuce, corn and lors of cilantro sauce on it. No fajita veggied as requested. They ruined the mood of eating mexican food. Think before eating at this place. Taco belle, Chipotle and other small takeout places have better food and they fill orders as requested. If they don't have they refund and they are 100% better than this restaurant. Wasted money and had to throw out Garlic oozing cheese Quesadilla, overstuffed rice bean tacos and Bag of chips with fake Queso.
