Easily a top 3 restaurant in New Brunswick. I have turned several friends and colleagues onto it.
I don't know much about authentic Chinese food, but based on what I've seen, I think this is the real deal.
What solidified it's authenticity to me is the first time I tried the mala dish - it is crazy spicy and flavorful and perfect to warm you up and clear your sinuses! The fact that it isn't toned down for American palates, to me, is an indication that they make the real deal.
Their Sichuan pork dumplings are my new comfort food.
201 and 204 are my usual orders, but the Taiwanese stewed pork with rice (503) is phenomenal; crazy tender and flavorful meat.
Very friendly staff and great food
Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and the man behind the counter seemed confused and disinterested - any question I had was met with one word answers or none at all. I walked out - there’s a great noodle place around the corner I’d highly recommend. Don’t go here.
Really good noodles and nice staff :)
Local staple. Come here often. Food is fantastic and prices can't be beat!
Good food, if you guys figure out parking, i will be more frequent. 🤣
The food was so delicious. I had the beef noodles and the broth was mind blowing. I went with a friend and she loves their steamed pork soup dumplings. The guy taking our order so super kind and helpful. I liked the designs and drawings on the wall and the atmosphere in general. It felt mystical.
Kid-friendliness: The man taking our order was very welcoming especially since me and my friend were teens dining in for the first time. He made sure he had our orders correct and he answered very politely when being asked a question.

Food was okay. I got the chicken katsu noodles and it was bland and weird. The soup dumplings were also mid. Overall overpriced food
After moving to CA and being a Rutgers alum, I was looking forward to trying a new place after not being in New Brunswick for almost a decade. I ordered a spicy beef noodle for take out. Noodles tasted ok but reminded me of plain spaghetti noodles (you can’t choose the type of noodle). The beef was a bit chewy and the broth was pretty boring. Even on a rainy day this soup just didn’t really deliver.
Best Chinese noodle in town with a reasonable dine in price
