Pukhtun Afghan Cuisine

First time trying Afghan food. I would always see videos of raisins and carrots in rice and thought I wouldnt like rice thats on the sweeter side, but the flavor has alot of layers and complexity to it. The rice was amazing, grilled meats amazing. Packed with assortment of grilled veggies too. Highly recommend.

If I was an afghani, I would be embarrassed this restaurant exists. Probably the worst, lowest quality food I’ve ever had. Only thing that was decent was the beef chapli kebab burger.

I ordered chicken adana and my friend ordered chicken mix grill, the food was so good and that’s my favorite place! I usually order to go but this time i ordered in there upstairs the place is fine but it needs to be cleaned also it has a lot of bugs in there.

Drove all the way from Baltimore and it was closed , even though on google it said it is open.

Chicken Kabuli Pulao is a good option. We ordered via uber eats. Portion size is okay. Package can be improved.

Vegetable bolani was in a tortilla. Chicken was ok, texture was ok. All vegetables were old. Everything had no flavors/old/dry. Not even close to real afghan food

For authentic and delicious Afghan cuisine in the New Jersey/Central Jersey area, look no further! This place truly stands out. The meat is consistently well-marinated, tender, and bursting with flavor. You absolutely have to try the Chicken Adana Kebab and the Chicken Kofta – they are phenomenal. The portions are very satisfying, and the family platter is a fantastic deal for a group of four to five. Don't let the tight parking deter you; a spot is always available.
