I’m from Texas so I’m used to TexMex… the tacos were on point 5 stars all the way. I’m not a fan of how they package them because they wrapped everything in one piece of foil, tacos with onions and cilantro already on them. I usually don’t eat them all at once so serving them this way makes them soggy by the time I get around to eat the rest. The tamales were ok, they definitely had more spice than seasoning so I’d rate them a 2 because I don’t like spicy food. Overall...
Service is terrible … lady always mad but their TAMALES (whatever type… they all good) put New Brunswick on the map for potentially best in the state on nj … still going from when they made them in the back in the small house… IYKYK…
Food is great. I had a spicy pork quesadilla. The ingredients taste fresh and meat is well flavored. Customer service is also on point. Overall perfect experience. This is my go-to Mexican restaurant in town.
