Their wagyu flat iron steak is hands down the best steak I’ve ever had. Very tasty and creative cocktail menu.
Service can be slow, long waits for drinks, and tables are cramped especially when dirty dishes accumulate, but the food is always worth it, especially that wagyu steak.

The food was sublime . The service was excellent with the exception of our neighbor table being served our coffees. However, the waiter taking our order was knowledgeable, friendly with an excellent personality. The room is small and cramped but much better than our original table by the door with constantly having employees & customers coming in and out. The prices are high but the food is delicious! We've been going to Stage Left since it opened in 1992. Very creative menu with Restaurant Week specials; the adjoining wine list and store are fairly balanced in terms of selection size and product quality. You can purchase anything or almost any wine from dinner in the store afterwards, which is very convenient. Francis and Mark are highly connected to the restaurant scene and their marketing efforts are top notch. The events and blogs are very entertaining and informative....
