Just not th that great. Food is mey. Belmar is much better.
The burritos are huge and filling plus you get chips and salsa with them. Not a bad price considering one burrito is nearly a whole day's worth of food. Some of the combinations are better than others though, and it's obviously not healthy. I had one with grilled chicken and some sour green stuff that was awful. The one with potatoes, cheese and bacon is awesome though.
The most amazing tacos in the whole world
Not close to the Mexican style I wanted / black beans instead of refried beans. They close early and tables are small.
Rockin food, however the service was lacking a little and the food took a little too long but was still good.
Loved it, new experience for me and sitting area was clean.
Everyone loves surf tacos
Very hit or miss. To be fair, I've only had the chimichangas, so maybe some of their more signature menu items are better. Out of the 3 times ive been there, the first time was perfect, and the subsequent visits, the food was just oversoaked in oil and the tortilla they served on the side tasted extremely stale. Dissapointing, since I enjoyed the first time.
Very flavorless food. Tasted like I was eating cafeteria tacos. Chips were flavorless, guac was flavorless. Chicken was not grilled. It was like that pre-made chicken in a bag you buy at a grocery store. Not at all what I was expecting.
Food was very tasteless, had a burrito (maverick) with steak that was very bland. The person I went with had a taco with shrimp and mango that was ok (the reason I do not give 1 star), the mango had a great taste. The service was here not there but it is to be expected since it's college kids

Pretty good food, but a little pricey. When I go, I usually get two tacos as a combo and a drink and it costs around 20 dollars. Its also a little annoying how many chips you get. If you don't order multiple tacos in a combo, they come on separate plates with a side of chips for each.
It's not the worst. It is a clean establishment and has friendly staff. My only issue is the food. If you want to eat bland, overpriced food, then this is your place. I ordered tacos from here and regretted my order. It didnt taste bad. I just couldnt taste anything. If you want tacos, just go to taco bell. At least those are more flavorful.
Great spot for quick quality burritos.
Wasnt bad
I have love Surf Taco all my life and don't remember a time I didn't go to the one in Manasquan. Rutger's surf taco was kinda disappointing other than I could use RUexpress there.
