Taka Taka is one of my wife's and my favorite places to go to. Authentic Greek food at a reasonable price is hard to come by, but Taka Taka delivers in spades! The fun atmosphere and courteous service are always a plus. It's even easy to order online for pickup or delivery! More restaurants should be like Taka Taka! Kudos to a hidden gem on George Street!
Vegetarian options: Falafel and chick peas can be swapped in or customized instead of any meat for a dish.
Parking: You will need to hunt for parking, but there are plenty of on street and parking garages around George Street to accommodate.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has flexible seating and table layout to easily accommodate wheelchairs.
I am Greek, raised and fed in Greece and I'm a Greek food snob. Ordered a Gyro with tomatoes, tzatziki, and crumbled feta. Restaurant was completely empty so turnaround was really quick. But that was the problem. The sandwich meat was almost room temperature instead of hot, the pita not fully cooked and only slightly warmed. The tomatoes were sliced as if going into a sub not diced. The only good part of the meal were the fresh-cut fries. For $18, not a great meal or deal.

First time here, was heading to Chipotle and decided to scan the QR on the door and trying something new. Decided to build my own protein bowl. When you enter, there are kiosks at the counter to order at. The food is not made up front like chipotle, but in the back. So any I built mine. Place had a nice setup inside as well, but back to the food. The bowl was delicious. The chicken had a nice grilled succulent flavor. The toppings were laid nicely on top, and the vinaigrette. I will say the parfait was ok, but small for $7. Will go back to try other things.

DELICIOUS!! ?quick and easy ordering online or inside. Food was ready very quickly! The gentleman who was working was helpful as a first time customer!! Ordered the beef and lamb gyro rice bowl with feta, pickled onions, cucumbers, chickpeas, and roasted red peppers with Greek vinaigrette. Absolutely delicious and super filling!! They were extra sweet and gave me a strawberry desert ❤️❤️
