Such an appropriate name for this place, both for all the beautiful herbs in the food and because this kind of cooking and hospitality feel like such a nod to the past. Abdul was such a warm, wonderful host, of the sort you don't find often anymore, and the food was terrific: bright, fresh, and delicious--clearly made with love and care, and the best quality ingredients. This is *real* food made by people who care about it and about the people who eat it. And it doesn't cost a mint, either. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
