If you are heading into New Brunswick for a show, this is a great place for dinner. I took my 17 year old daughter out for her birthday and we had a 5pm (WED) restaurant reservation. and found that we were, at that time, the only diners in the place (others were at the bar). The appetizer of bruschetta was really fresh. She had the Caprese salad which was large by my eyes and I had the Italian chicken soup which I found to be meaty and tasty. The creamy pesto gnocchi was very appealing to the nose and my daughter loved it. I had the Bolognese pappardelle with fresh ricotta. Very tasty and just the right portion. We split a cannoli order for dessert. Service was friendly. Prices are about normal for what you you pay for a sit down dinner in the theater district of New Brunswick. Parking garage close by (sorry no validation). Theaters are about a 2-block walk.

Spectacular service and food. David Lopez is the best waiter. Great to go before a comedy show at Stress Factory. Saw Marcello!

We were really looking forward to dining here, especially for a special occasion — Father's Day — but unfortunately, our experience didn't meet expectations. To start, we waited far too long for our food. We arrived at 7:20 PM and didn't leave until 9:45 PM — we were actually the last guests to walk out. While the service was very slow, we want to be clear that our waiter was kind, attentive, and professional throughout. The delays appeared to come from the kitchen, not the front-of-house staff. We ordered two appetizers: the bruschetta and the calamari. The bruschetta was delicious — fresh and full of flavor. However, the calamari was a letdown — the portion was small, better suited for two people, and the breading was loose and falling off, which affected both texture and presentation. Another concern was the area near the restrooms — several family members almost slipped due to the slippery floor, and there was no signage or caution notice in place. This is a safety issue that should really be addressed. As for the entrées, they simply didn't justify the pricing. The only standout was the chicken Francese, which was flavorful and well-prepared. The spaghetti and meatballs for the kids were watery and lacked texture. The shrimp scampi had decent flavor but was very runny more like a soup than a proper pasta dish. The pappardelle Bolognese was rich and flavorful but a bit overwhelming and too heavy to enjoy fully. To top it off, when we asked for bread, we were told they didn't have any which was surprising and disappointing, especially for an Italian restaurant. For a Father's Day celebration, we were hoping for a more seamless, memorable experience. While the atmosphere had potential and the staff was friendly, the long delays, inconsistent food quality, safety concerns, and lack of basic service elements left us disappointed. We truly hope the restaurant takes steps to improve guests celebrating special occasions deserve better.

Food was decent. We got the burrata pizza, it wasn’t hot, tasted like it was sitting for a while, but the flavor was actually good so we didn’t say anything. The service was very slow and it was a non crowded weekday. We had to ask for bread that was supposed to come with meal, and had to ask for refills of water. The limoncello at the end tasted like watered down lemonade. It’s just an okay spot. Skip the fig salad. The chicken parm and eggplant rollonti were good. Heavy pour on the wine which was nice!!

Came here for dinner with friends and the food was amazing. The server Jonah was very accommodating and gave good recommendations. We enjoyed our brownie dessert and plan on coming back again soon. Try the lobster ravioli!

The food is excellent. Best gnocchi pesto anywhere! We went before the comedy show, even got to see the funny and talented Vinnie! When you have show tickets they check you in and then bring you in through the restaurant with preferred seating so you skip the crazy line. Excellent food and skipping the crazy with reasonable prices?! Yes please!
