Unfortunately this New Milford “Cheers “ has closed. Whenever we came back to NJ it was a place to have a great reunion with my former students. Another small business negatively affected by COVID 19.

Food is great, especially the chicken tenders! Absolutely delicious, homemade and one serving could easily serve as an entree. The hanger steak is also great, honestly there’s only one teeny complaint I have - I wish they served Prosecco

I celebrated my nomination earlier this evening in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that we passed a outstanding evening and the place was unquestionably the reason for that successful celebration. Too much batter on Fish & chips fish was mushy. The shepherds pie had no flavor. Penne vodka was ok but you’d be hard pressed to find 1 bit of prosciutto. My husband liked the Jameson steak the first time he ordered it. Has had several since and it’s not the same. Very inconsistent. The service is okay but I dislike seeing the servers eating as they come out of the kitchen with your food. Did they take it from the plate? Wish they were Diners Drive Ins & Dives worthy.

I've tried this place a couple times. The last time we walked in and it just stunk of grease and alcohol and was basically empty. I ordered a burger medium and it arrived way over well-done, dry and just crusty. Maybe 2 thinner patties instead of 1 overly thick patty to reduce cook time and increase the reliability of getting the order to the table cooked to the guests requested liking. It'll be awhile before I go back...
