Pastrami - 8/10 - Lacking flavor
Rye Bread - Delicious very fresh
Mayo - ehh nothing special
Pickle - 8/10 - Very Fresh but lacking flavor.

Entire sandwich felt fresh. Nothing tasted days old.

Overall rating 8/10.
Was my sandwitch memorable? Not really. But after I finished it, I was satisfied.

Will I return back ? Yes, If I’m ever in the area and craving a pastrami sandwich I would stop by again.

@BigDudesBigFoods is celebrating 🎉 our 6th anniversary at The Pastrami House 🏠 in #NewProvidenceNJ on #NationalPastramiDay . We had quite an assortment of hearty items from their extensive menu. The Big Dudes 🧔🏼‍♂️🧔🏽‍♂️platter consisted of a hot #pastrami sandwich🥪, a stuffed pastrami 🥔knish, Rueben egg🥚rolls, potato 🥔 chips and assorted 🥒pickles. Joe and I weren’t feeling desserty so we split a pastrami hotdog🌭(ripper style). Everything was delicious and with all of the food choices in New Providence, it would have to be. It’s a nice, clean shop with a friendly crew and great location on Springfield Avenue. This is your best 🏆Union County pastrami spot!

First time ordering I was pleasantly surprised. Moved to NJ from Queens finally found a place to order a good pastrami sandwich ( with coleslaw, pickle ) and warm potato chips ! The junior size was perfect for me !

I had Pastrami House cater for my mom's 87th birthday. They did a fabulous job. Everyone enjoyed the food and there was plenty left over. I would recommend Pastrami House for any occasion.

Fab, filling, and fun conversation.
Had a brisket and a pastrami, healthy and regular slaw. Melt in your in mouth deliciousness. Deborah was super helpful for first time eaters, and she was right! So tasty! Will return!

Second visit and just as good as the first. So far I tried the pastrami sandwich, and this time I went with the Triple Crown because I could decide between the pastrami, corned beef and brisket....this sandwich has it all and is excellent! This is one of the best sandwich spots in NJ!

First time impression was not good at all. The female is a white Caucasian woman. Paid asked for i can get a receipt she refused. The potato salad was nasty one bite throw it in the trash. Would never walk myself in store again.. If anyone was purchasing food and offered me i would refuse and starved

Have eaten twice at the Pastrami House Deli in New Providence. The sandwiches are excellent. Our first visit several months ago was outstanding, the older gentleman behind the counter talked to use about the restaurant, and recommending several side dishes we would enjoy.
Second visit was not so good. We stopped by late on a Sunday afternoon to get a sandwiches. Young man behind the counter was very courteous, but seemed a bit more focused on his phone than on our food ordered. My fault for not checking the bag of before heading out, but when we arrived home we had our sandwiches, but none of the condiments, etc we had asked be included with the sandwiches, including a few items that were supposed to be part of the sandwich orders.
Will definitely visit the Pastrami House again as the food is excellent but, word to the wise, check your takeout order before leaving.
