I really like the Colorado burger and fries from here and get it every time. However the service here needs a lot of improvement. I’m always waiting at least 20-30 minutes for my order, even when the restaurant is empty. One time my order was just sitting on the counter even though there were 5 employees just walking around and chatting. There needs to be something done about the timing and service of the restaurant here, as it seems like other people in the reviews have also complained about the long wait time.

It's the only Smashburger north of hwy 78 and serves New Providence, Summit, Chatham, and even Florham Park. The food is similar to others and gets quite busy during nights and weekends. Even though they have 3 guys working the grills, there's only one working both the register and bagging food. Just be patient. The dining area is clean. Ordering through the app is preferred than standing in line. I just tried their scorchin' hot mac and cheese burger. It's ok. Not spicy at all. But interesting. The kids love their smash tots.

The food was delicious it always is. however, after ordering takeout, it took almost a whole hour for the food to be brought out to us. our orders were sitting on the counter for about 30 minutes, and nobody packaged them until we asked. we wanted to wait and see if the woman at the counter would package it, but she did not budge! the nice young girl working the register quickly packed all 3 of our orders in under a minute when we asked, after waiting a whole hour since ordering. I'm unsure why the other woman did not even attempt to bag the now cold food.

Horrible chicken sandwich, slow customer service, but the customers were friendly ? . I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and large fries with some other things for my family. The fries were made about 5-6 hours ago. The crispy chicken sandwich tasted like it was fried 400 times and left to sit for about 6 hours. I almost lost a tooth biting into it. I visited Smashburger today with my elderly parents, one of whom is recovering from a severe stroke. The staff at this restaurant, especially the host, were all so kind. I have never ever felt so cared for at a burger restaurant in my life. This is the first time I've ever dined in at a Smashburger (I've occasionally ordered and picked up food in a different location), but if the staff is, on average, half as kind and caring as those my family interacted with today, you have won over a family of lifetime loyal customers.Thank you for treating my father with kindness and dignity. I will not forget today.
