Was walking by and saw A&J Caribbean Taste. I just had to go in and see what they had. It was like home! They had a wide range of food and I was so excited I asked for a sample of it all lol. DELICIOUS. Further, it was super generous of the server to accommodate my request. My favorite was the oxtail though all dishes were delicious. If you're missing GOOOOD Caribbean food and want a variety - and not have to wait for food preparation - this is a must visit. Compliments to the chef. This will now be one of my go-to spots whenever I come to my Newark Office.

I ordered a chicken roti with pumpkin and tamarind sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed the roti overall, but I couldn't taste the added pumpkin or tamarind sauce, it just tasted like a standard roti. Regardless I'll be back, plenty of options I want to try. Place was clean bright and welcoming.

Came here for the first time because I needed a quick bite. And as trini, trying the bake and saltfish was a nostalgic experience because and man oh man, it was so delicious! That I told my husband we must go back. Plus they had snacks from when I was a child! It's worth the pit stop when you are in the area.
