I know the standard is low for airport food, but 40$ for this carbonara was robbery. No way they used eggs, or even decent cream, it tasted like nothing. Low-quality pasta and overcooked. I know I'm italian, but this food as we say, "Manco ai cani".

Very expensive and with tip included. How ridiculous. I understand that waiters should be paid adequately but this should also be included IN ADDITION to taxes and various parapharmacies....

What can I say about Poules Poules, bartender, and server extraordinaire. He made an unfortunately lengthy layover @ EWR bearable with his take on Espresso Martinis. Ask for him when you are here. You will be happy you did! Honorable mentions to Jessica and Tina for customer service oriented actions. The best!

We ordered to burgers, one medium and one well done. The inside was raw, uncooked meat. Sent the food back.
That gave us some cake to offset the potential food poisoning.

Do not eat here - food is terrible, did not arrive as advertised, staff not friendly, got us the wrong order but didn’t have time to change it.

Literally so terrible do not come to eat here. 30+ minute wait for food that, if you're like me, tastes like I made it myself. And that's not a good thing. $30 for a less-than-mid plate of pasta is such a joke. The waiter also mentioned that the rigatoni mezze al amantriciana I ordered was very spicy which I am fine with yet when it came out... was not spicy at all. Not to mention they don't offer half the drinks they have on the menu either. I ended up getting a mojito that didn't even taste like a mojito. I was just given a cup of sweet juice. I sent the drink back along with other things we ordered, went through the refund process and still haven't received it almost 2 months later. Such a waste of time and money. Just get food from a fast food place somewhere else in the airport.

This is possibly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. In an almost empty restaurant I had to wait nearly 40 minutes for my food. In an upscale restaurant, especially at an airport, this is just completely unacceptable. There were about 10 “wait” staff and it seemed that all of them were just standing around doing nothing, while one cook presumably cooked the food. Nobody ever checked on me once. After 20 minutes I had to stand at the bar and quite forcefully verbally ask for an update on my food. I was told 5 minutes but then had to wait an additional 20 minutes. I finally had to stand at the bar again for several minutes and then quite forcefully verbally ask for my food to-go. It’s painful to eat food on an airplane, but even more so when you arrived at the airport early and had plenty of time to sit and relax and enjoy your food in the terminal. Did I mention that you have to pre-pay your tip when you order your food with a QR code at the table? It’s no wonder that the “wait” staff have no incentive to provide service. You’ve already given them a tip before they do a thing. I wish I had time to stand in front of the restaurant all day long and just point people to all of the negative Google and Yelp reviews and save them the grief.

Here’s a tip, if your default is 18% tip, you should at a bare minimum say hello to your customers

We left after waiting for 20 mins for an answer about why 3 of their “ALL DAY” menu options were not on the QR ordering app.
The staff was standing around doing not much.
It’s a shame other people were being served here and the food looked pretty good but I doubt I would ever try again based on pretty lousy service.

Our server was really nice. She was smiling and seemed kind.
The food was good, I would suggest a bun for the burgers as the ciabatta bread was not tasty.
Also, I would suggest playing more Italian music and less of some of the noisy music.

Service was really friendly and welcoming in the beginning. But the kitchen seems to be ridiculous slow or the service forgot one meal on the order. We had to wait over 40 min. Then we had to leave because boarding started. But as you are forced to pay upfront on order (!!!) you now need to beg for a refund. Which is not possible in the restaurant - you need to follow a link within the receipt mail, which doesn’t work! The staff tries to be helpful but cannot help you at all. Scam. Avoid this place.

Where to start....I get that airport food costs more, but wow. Zero value....
Started with a bloody mary that cost almost $20, the contents of which would have fit in a child's sippy-cup.
Breakfast was cold potato-chip home fries, one slice of cold bread that was supposed to be toast (served with a lump of butter that was impossible to spread), and 2 eggs (which weren't all that bad, actually).
Then to add insult to injury, all ordering is done online, and the tipping starts at 20%!
I'm not tipping for the same service Burger King delivers, nor am I tipping for mediocre food. There literally was no one I could ask about the food!
I'll go hungry next time before I eat here again.
