Place is beautiful. The food wasn't the best. Rice was hard. And other things.
Maybe it was because of a late night dinner. But I will try it again.

Great Restaurant!
Wife and I have had a great time at this place. It was our first visit there. Manager and waiter did their best to serve us. They were courteous and attentive all the time. Meal quality is top notch. We will definitely come back and strongly recommend it if you wish to enjoy the Portuguese cuisine and other dishes. Congrats!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Allegro in Newark! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—every bite was delicious. But what really made it memorable was the service. Julian was outstanding—charismatic, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He truly elevated the entire experience. Highly recommend this gem of a Portuguese restaurant. Can’t wait to come back!
