I've already made two trips here. Every single person I've met is incredibly kind. I told them I was tasting African food for the first time, and they allowed me to sample everything I ordered to make sure it was what I wanted and that I enjoyed it. Since this was my first time eating African food, I have nothing to compare it to, but everything was incredibly tasty.I had red red with chicken, light goat soup with foufou, and palm nut soup with foufou the first time. The Red Red with its chicken had a great flavor that surprised me for something so straightforward. The light goat soup and the palm nut soup had nice space levels.

As a Ghanaian my family and I were highly highly disappointed in the food we ordered, I don’t know if bc its was late when we ordered or what it was but banku was tasteless and jollof tasteless the waakye was fair. Food honestly ruined our evening. I would hope it was a one off situation. Wasted $51

My absolute favorite place for some fufu and african delicacies, The spicy beef light soup is to die for!!! Even after moving still come to this location for their food and the owners are so sweet and amazing! Also love that the vibe in the restaurant is always light and positive, wonderful choice of music soothes the soul with the presence of The Lord <3 As long as I am in NJ I will forever stay coming here whenever in the mood for some fufu :)))))

Let me just say that when somebody gets off a red eye flight on Christmas Eve and everything is closed, to have a business stay open after closing just to accommodate a single weary traveler is beyond kind. This is one of those businesses. If that wasn't enough, the food here is delicious, I had the light soup with beef (egusi) tons of greens and bold flavor with a side of everyone's favorite, fried plantains! So thankful for the food and accommodation, the owner I'm even offered to drive me to my rental afterwards, what a great guy! This place deserves all the business!

I have been here twice now. Everyone I have encountered is terribly friendly. I let them know this was my first time trying African food and they let me try everything I was ordering to make sure it was what I wanted and that I liked it. I have nothing to compare the food with as this was my first experience with African food, but everything was delicious. The first time I got red red with chicken, palm nut soup with foufou and light goat soup with Foufou. The Red Red and it's chicken had a flavor I did not expect from something so simple as it was flavored amazingly. The space levels of the palm nut soup and the light goat soup were pleasant and the flavors were bold and enjoyable. We look forward to the next time we are able to go back.
