Since this café has opened, I have never had a good experience. The workers are rude, obnoxious impatient. I understand that most of the workers there speak Spanish, but I don’t know how to speak their language So it obviously takes me a while to order what I want. The ladies start getting aggravated at me that I’m wasting their time while I’m asking them questions. One time me and my friend got the same thing they charged her Seven $7 well I got charged $10 for the same order. they changed the prices of their items depending on what you look like and how Spanish she speak. yesterday I went there for my lunch I ordered a simple Steak sandwich. it took them 40 minutes to make my steak sandwich. The store was empty and all the workers just sat there and stared at my friends until I went up and asked them what’s taking so Long with my food .The lady started speaking horrible about me in Spanish. Did they know I understood them They sat there talking about me and my friends in front of our faces cause we asked if our food was ready. Today me and my friend wait 30 minutes for a baliada surpreme only for the meat to come raw. This is unprofessional and I’m tired of their attitude towards customers helping them with their family business. It’s such a shame I have to sit here continuously and complain, and they still don’t fix their attitude towards his customers. I am tired of these people. End of the business.

Very clean restaurant and cafe with everything you could want from Honduras. The baleadas are excellent, and they have other classic food like tamales and burritas. They keep a bunch of banana soda too, both in 2L and 16oz plastic and glass bottles. Coffee was solid, cant say anything about the mixed drinks tho. 10/10 expect me to come back.

Food is mediocre at best. Horchata had no flavor, Baleadas tasted like straight grease. Service takes too long. Then their driver blocked me in the street parking for 10 mins (they left no sign or notice on their car for someone to call.. common courtesy if you’re going to double park). Once driver came out, I asked if he can please quickly move out, to which he said he will take his sweet time… his co workers laughed at this. Shows the low class and quality of the people that work there. I give the atmosphere 3 stars only because the vibes are chill inside. Never eating there again. There’s better spots (one is in Maplewood) with much superior Horchatas and Baleadas.

This place was such a great surprise! I’m Honduran and it was so special to taste some of the traditional foods from my country. As someone that migrated to the US at such a young age, places like this make me feel closer to my culture.

Their baleadas have been one of my go-to lunch foods in the Ironbound for years. Incredibly fresh and delicious. This is the first Honduran place I've been to and I've become absolutely hooked.

I don't know if it was because I was “busy” but my experience was not good at all. First, the person in charge of assigning you a table to know where it was, my husband and I sat at the table that we saw available and that was dirty. The girl never told us her name, then she only brought us the menu. Then another one came who didn't give her name either, I imagine they are ghosts hehe, they took our order and were so prejudiced that they believed that my husband's drink was mine and my drink was his. This same waitress threw our food on the table. At no time was there a waiter-customer interaction. Only one girl approached us at our table and asked if everything was okay. She was very kind, I can only remember that she is medium brunette, she looks super super young and has long hair! In the end I only remember eating a few slices (I ordered chicken with slices) and ended up ordering takeout because the chicken wasn't cooking completely. I want to believe that it was my bad experience with their annoying waitresses that caused me to not enjoy my chicken. To the manager or owner of the restaurant, talk to your waitresses and make them understand the importance of good customer service, which even brings with it remuneration, but in this case there was no way I would leave them a tip.

I don't recommend this place to anyone, there's one of the owners, oh no, they just answer the phone in a bad way, you ask for baleadas de queso, they give you cheese and beans. You get there and there's a woman with a big face, and that's probably the one who Answer the phone as if you were asking someone to go to a business, they have to put on a pretty face, treat people well, if not, it's better not to have a business, and if they don't like my comment, they'll put up with it so they can learn to treat people, imagine me. I'm from Honduras and they treat me like that and speaking Catracho let alone other people 😡

Average food, super high prices, disastrous service, the person who served us was very unfriendly, visiting this place from FL out of 10 recommended perhaps a 6

The meat. Asada was tasty, the pupusas. And the shooting not so much.
I write this opinion not to bother, it is so that they improve.
