The best soul food I have had in years!!! I’m from Htown and when I tell you the flavors were to die for!!!im definitely coming back. Everything was cooked to perfection! You’re missing out if you don’t go to this spot ! The catfish, yams, greens , Mac n cheese, and turkey chops were so delicious! 10 star meal right here!

Food wads amazing! I ordered the wings with macaroni and cheese and potato salad. I also added cornbread and an original banana pudding!! Staff was very efficient and friendly. I don't live in the area but will definitely drop in every now and then.

Wow, honestly the best soul food I’ve had in a while after moving to another state. The taste was phenomenal, the chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection. You can tell that this was really made with love. When I pay a visit back to my hometown I’m definitely stopping by.

The food here is pretty good.I always usually get the salmon.My husband likes their wings and Mac and cheese and their yams are delicious.But I must say that the oxtails need an upgrade. Especially thirty dollar oxtails. Not so much of the size but the flavor and the texture.

I got takeout for lunch the other day. I ordered the honey lemon pepper wings, mac & cheese, and seafood pasta. They called to let me know that the seafood pasta was sold out but really that was nothing but God shutting my big back activities down because I really had no business ordering two pasta sides to begin with lol. I replaced with a more reasonable and demure side, collard greens. I stopped by shortly after and my food was ready and waiting. The young woman at the desk was super friendly too.
The food did not disappoint! The wings were fried and seasoned to perfection and both the mac & cheese and collard greens were very tasty. *chef's kiss* I loved everything and that's saying a lot because a lot of these soul food restaurants in the area play in your face with their inconsistency. I ordered oxtail Rasta pasta and I will say it is the BEST oxtail I’ve had up north (being a Caribbean woman myself who travels a lot) the meat fell off the bone and I didn’t have to worry about dirtying my hands AT ALL! I HIGHLY recommend you get there house made juices, I bought 6 after tasting the pineapple uptown. It can get a bit busy in there just be a little patient and they will get right to you because it’s a more pick up to go rather than a sit down restaurant but the food totally makes up for it!
