Prepare yourself to wait up to 30+ minutes for your ordered dish and another 30+ minutes before you can leave. Was sat at 7:10 pm (only had a few ordered after 12 minutes of waiting, waited for the dish for 30 minutes, ate for 20 minutes and continued waiting for another 33 minutes for a slice of cheesecake ordered at the very start of dinner, and was not able to get the bill until after 8:57 pm.

Ordered the chicken katsu for dinner and a slice of pistachio cheesecake. The crispy chicken from the chicken katsu was good, the rice was very dry, and the broccoli was boiled. It was not worth the 30 minute wait.

I can understand a bit if it was during busy times, but when I ordered, there was at most another three tables of people.

Recommended to bring playing cards, a book to read, your work, or any form of entertainment for all this waiting that you will be doing.

WORST SERVICE I’VE EVER HAD

Female bartender on a Sunday night was a bonafide See You Enn Tee. She clearly doesn’t give two effs about doing a good job and was extremely rude to everybody I heard her interact with. She treated the three male employees like her slaves and showed pure disdain for polite customers.

She should be canned.

The server finally sold me a drink (club soda) and I didn’t bother to order food because everybody was either waiting to have their order taken or had been waiting a lengthy time for their food.

Door Dash or take a Lyft somewhere. This place you’ll be thirsty while you starve.

Spent almost an hour waiting for the food. Never got water during that time or the drinks we ordered while everyone else did. 17$ for a sad appetizer, super dry and tasted old. Just not worth it. I say doordash or uber eats something to your room because the food isn't good at all.

We were on vacation returning from Latvia, many hours of flying, totally worn out, and our airline, UA, cancels our flight home to Miami until the next day at 3:00 pm!We had to stay at the Doubletree Inn by Hilton Hotels Newark Airport overnight. We were hungry and went downstairs to their restaurant, Bistro 128. The ambiance was fine. The food was ok except for the asparagus, which was overcooked and dried up so bad that it was inedible. It was $5 for a 16-ounce bottle of water when you can buy 24 bottles for $5 at Costco. Unbelievable. Prices were high on the menu. But we had no other choice.The service was a little on the slow side, but the servers were friendly. We were very tired after all the hassles at the airport, so slow service was ok with us this time.
