Ordered food there for the first time today! They messed up my whole order i ordered 2 platters when I show up there's only one then the lady is gonna argue with me, Secondly I get home and there's no chicken in my platter I call and explain im sorry the guy doesn't speak English she hardly spoke English to so I explained to her well thay isn't my issue if you can understand English, so she didnt even offer me the chicken so I said I will never step foot in there again and I am leaving an hinest review of how trashy the staff is

My experience today was very disappointing. We went to have a good time , my total was $68,24 plus they add waitress 20% gratuity automatically from $68,24 went up to $81,89 I was in shock cant believe it And they only take cash.
If I can rate this place a ZERO (0) I would. I ordered half order of chicken and beef ribs with yellow rice and specifically told them to put it in one pan. When I got home and opened my tray, I discovered they put pork ribs instead of beef ribs when I called the establishment back and told her they had messed up my order and that I do not eat pork due to religious reasons she told me I ordered a combo and it comes with pork ribs. I explained to her I did not order a combo and that I ordered my specific order and they charged me extra which I didn’t mind but what pissed me off was that I did not get the beef ribs that I ordered. When I asked her, what is she going to do about it? She said nothing, which is crazy to me because I just spent money to get something that I had never ordered. And the other crazy thing is it’s Ramadan. I told her I was Muslim and I don’t eat pork and she didn’t even care that they gave me the wrong order. Poor Customer Service establishment terrible management terrible this is why I will never come back here. For anyone who’s reading this y’all should try Elm Street barbecue in the ironbound section, cause this place sucks.

Food is good but prices are high You have to ask for what you need or you won’t get it such as hot sauce Sometimes the chicken is grossly Rice also sometimes is perfect as it’s easy item to cook

The service is terrible. I don’t understand why they can’t write the customer’s food order on a pad or paper. I was just over there and one of the waitresses forgot to bring my daughters food order. Stated “I never said that” when I knew exactly and how I ordered the food. Then felt bad and tried to see what she could do because “there’s no more chicken” how are you a bbq restaurant with no more chicken? Instead of trying to rush everyone’s orders to make it onto the tables ontime, how about taking the time to ENSURE everyone’s order is what they said they want and make it to the table ontime even if it does take a little long. Because let’s be honest, the service there to serve the food is already slow and ridiculous!
